I sink to your level "your mamma", choke out woman (to be as funny as Ein and Stien, i.e. Bobby and Legion), and now I'm the gang member.

For those who think I went to far with the gloc thing, just remember I come from a high crime area, where choking out women, or ALOT worse really does happen (not just some zit popping punk talking about it behind his computer) so that is why it hit a sore spot.

To Bobby and Legion fun is fun, but if somebody (like you two claim to be) ever came near my girlfriend and new born daughter that individual would visit the morgue that same day, and you can take that to the bank Son.

But even now as I read Legion's original message I still think this guy was serious at the time, it sure sounds that way. It is only after he got flamed that he changed it to he was joking, or whatever.

To everybody else who was originally with me in their outrage for this whole choking out women thing, and now are not. Here is the original message again:

The way I see it this guy came on hear asking a sincere question then changed it to a joke afterwards. That is why I haven't cut him any slack.

Did he really convince you it was a joke (hilarious stuff), or do you just not want to argue with this jerk off (probably pretty smart, this will be my last post to him). Or have people here become convinced that I'm in the wrong for being outraged by this whole brutalising women attitude. I probably shouldn't have sunk to his level by using explicit language etc. (trying to talk to him in his own language), but having a young family, this kind of attitude pisses me off to no end, so I apologise for that if I alienated anybody with that.

Legion posted to me with a respectful post a while back, and I gave him the same respect back. If someone sincerely wants to talk to me, I never shun them away or anything. That to me is wrong.
Now that doesn't mean I changed my opinion on his original post. I don't think it's funny, or intelligent, and I never will. I have stated that before, and I will always state it.
I'm not exactly sure if he was joking or not, but I think the heat he recieved was enough to stop the whole subject anyway. Is violence against women ever a funny thing? Or course not. Just because Legion posted that does it mean he will go out and choke someone out? Of course not.
Mik, don't think your ideals are the "wrong opinion" or anything. They're not. I agree with you. (There's no one on this forum who has a bug up his butt like I do about this subject LOL )
But I guess in a way Legion wanted to drop the issue, and seemed almost apologetic in a way (not trying to put words in your mouth, Legion) So I'm fine with the issue dying off.

Don't get angry though. Realize that if you're a guy who has a very chivalric ideal that's what matters, and you can physically do something about it in your area. (that's what I do)
Arguing with internet names just gets you frusterated.

Anyway just to let you know I would never "change" my stance on an issue like this because it was a "joke." So don't worry about that.

Assuming that i have never seen any 'real violence' is equally ignorant. Although i wasn't raised in a ghetto, which apparently you were, and the violence you claim happens against women too often was a rarity indeed when i was in school, anyone who attended a public school in Texas has seen 'real violence'. As for this original topic, i stated it was a joke for the amusment of my friends and myself. Not being one of my friends , something i can gaurantee will never happen, i could not care less whether you find the post entertaining or not. And as for speaking to me in my own language, you were the first person to curse during the course of this discussion, and you would have had to have at least graduated from high school to be able to hold rappoir with me , so you are obviously excluded. Listen up Legion, unless you have your Masters degree from Stanford don't even talk to me about Education.

I finished my 4 year B.Sc in Computer Science from a very well respected University in Canada last summer. U.S. companies deem Canadian degrees up there with the finest U.S. Universities (ask around dick head). Now I'm in the middle of getting my Microsoft Certification in Visual C++ 6.0..

Let me tell you what that means in case you don't know or understand. That means once this IT "recession" is over I'll probably be making around 50K-55K to start, plus benefits (not mind blowing or anything, but not too bad for a guy that just turned 25), so as you say I won't have to live in a working class neighbourhood anymore (not that that was an insult to start with, but whatever). Anyway I'm not here to brag it is just that this education thing your on is just the wrong way to go after me.

I could go on about how Texas is so well known for its intellectuals (i.e. Dubya) but that wouldn't be fair, because I've always liked Texas and I voted for Dubya. (Please no hate posts from Texas, I was just kidding about the intellectuals thing)

I was basing my estimates of your intelligence upon your posts here in this discussion, something which i will continue to do. I find it amazing that someone who has a college degreee could completely lack the language comprehension skills necessary to acquire one. The word is used to describe your neighborhood was 'ghetto' not 'working-class'.

The Bushs are originally from 'up north', and while 'dubya' does appear to be a moron, he does have a degree from a 'respected school', but then you have already proved that means nothing...
