    E1am:

You are correct and I did get off subject. I was trying to share some info with the Forum Master P.Rick Patterson.

      wellll...

what do CMA have to do with mixed martial arts? hm. maybe i'm showing my ignorance here, but i'd always assumed "mixed martial arts" pretty much meant the same as "eclectic styles" or "absorb what is useful".. meaning: people who mix styles. now..if i'm wrong, and there is an actual style known as "mixed martial arts" then, my fault. but i had assumed mma was kind of all-inclusive.

by ripping on martial styles, i think a person really only shows his LACK of experience..meaning, he hasn't had enough experience to see someone who can actually apply the techniques..he's only seen fruit loops. or, worse, has seen excellent fighters and was blinded to their abilities by his own hang ups/insecurities about his own fight abilities/style.

that's how i've always read it, because that's what always triggered it within myself. i've seen high school wrestlers defeat bjj guys. i've seen boxers get beat up by kickboxers. i've sparred with a tai chi instructor that i couldn't hit with my jab.. i've also seen loads of crap. just my thoughts.

      take care all,
