I'll admit I've never been to Texas and I've only Personally met a few Texans, I've met more people from Georgia, Tennesse etc..
But how can you not like the "Hank Hill" or “Dale Gribble” from King of the Hill type of Texan. I'm know that is just a stereotype but I think MOST of them are very likeable, hillbillies/rednecks or not.
Or how about my fellow Irishman Audie Murphy, one of my personal hero's.
Maybe this will make me a bad guy to any Politically Correct Northerners who want to demonise places like Texas. But Texas is O.K in my book.
Of course I’m not going to like ALL Texans but that would be the same with anywhere you go.
If I wasn’t tide to the North-East by family I would way sooner live in the South or the Middle States than NY/NJ. A way better place to raise a family by far.
