Holy crap, what an idiot. I guess there are no kicks in boxing because "it's very hard"? You're a moron, and there are leg shots in Judo, shitforbrains. The fact that YOU couldn't take down a cardboard cutout on a windy day doesn't mean the rest of the world is as hopeless as you.

LOL, this is what LARPers like you always try to 'imagine' to make yourselves feel better about being incompetent. You are not going to 'learn' a fraction of something and be any good at it, moron. You are trying very hard to fool yourself.

so you have a red belt in judo then as bjj is judo newaza i mean you cant learn a fraction of something and be good at it like say gsp becoming the ufc ww champion before he was a black belt but why am i even talking about black belts you must be one of the half dozen men in the world that has earned a red belt in bjj because you cant learn a fraction of something and be good at it, not that i have been talking about bjj i have been talking about street self protection but there the same thing to you as you think ITS A good idea to submission grapplin in a streetfight.

this is getting silly. look kid this is posted in the bjj forum and only you are arguing that trying to lock in submissions in a streetfight is a good idea. none of the guys who are far better at bjj then you and me put together are saying thay would grappling in a streetfight. if you ever go to brazil to train (but i think you will probably loose interest in it by then and move onto skateboards or something) thay call bjj the game of juijitsu and if you roll well your a good player, thay have no delusions that its anything else. yes theres alot of crossover to the street but not how its train, its trained as a sport.

well do you have a red belt in both judo and bjj? as you said you cant learn a fraction of something and be good at it so you must be at that level and also know traditional ju jitsu fully aswell if we are to believe that you cant learn a fraction of something and become good at it.

i really shouldnt have to explain everything to you.

i have never stated or infered that you shouldnt learn to grapple, i have just said in my opinion it is better to practice getting up off the floor then spending huge amounts of time learning to say on the floor and lock in subs. learning to sweep and escape the pins and pull guard and improve position until you can get back to your feet are more importent imo then learning to lock in subs or take the mount ect.
Grammatical errors bug me, you IMPLY something to someone and they INFER it.

Not true, ashi-waza (foot techniques) are an enormous part of Judo. Major highlight reel throws are set up with with foot techniques and break down your opponent's defense.

Edit: Explanation of receiving negative rep: "Grammer bunnies bug ME" lol

i was talking about single and double legs rather then foot techniques, i know thay are part of judo but i was trying to make the point that thay are less prevalent in judo then free style wrestling partly due to being easier to block when someone is wearing clothinng that you can hang onto.
