Open Question: will kimbo ever fight chuck?

Both are over the hill. I put those two in the same catagory as Tank Abbot.

Oh, come now. I'm not going to claim Chuck's the baddest man on the planet, but I wouldn't put him with Tank Abbot and Kimbo, either.

Agreed -- Chuck is a highly skilled kickboxer and former Division I (I think?) college wrestler -- sure he may be past his prime but you still can't compare him to Kimbo.

Kimbo made a lot of money and became really famous for what he was.

Who could he fight next that would be a good career move for him? Maybe he could fight Bob Sapp. I don't know if he'd win that. I think Sapp is actually pretty tough, I think he'd probably take Kimbo out.

I don't know if there is any former top guy on the decline that he could take. A guy like Igor V, I don't think Kimbo could win against him even now. A fat, out-of-shape Igor V is still in much better shape and a better striker than Kimbo. And Igor would probably do to him what he did to Gilbert Yvel, take him down into clueless territory.

Despite the weight difference, against either Chuck or Wandy, Kimbo would get KO'd in the first two minutes. Totally different level of striking. The would weave for a minute or so until he was mildly tired, then they'd crack his jaw.

In any case, the real MMA fans consider Kimbo to be a joke so he needs to get a legit win sometime this year against a big name. I guess guys like Tank and Ken Shamrock are big names, but their days are so long gone that even not-so-serious MMA fans know that.
