If this happens, I'm hoping GSP will drop to a weight closer to Bj's.

Yes, good for both, and I'm looking forward to the fight. I've got to say though that I think BJ comes off looking more and more like a sore loser the more he complains about the vaseline. I don't blame him for requesting an investigation -- that's his right -- but to state publicly that the vaseline may have affected the fight seems a bit rich. It isn't as if, say, BJ repeatedly came close to locking in a triangle only to have GSP slither out. And it's hard to see how a bit of vaseline on GSP's shoulders explains his ability to pass BJ's guard at will...

As far as GSP's coming down to BJ's weight, I agree it would make for a much more even match and a more interesting fight. I'm not sure I'd want to do that if I were GSP, though -- since the man seems to have zero body fat, it seems to me he'd have to lose a fair amount of muscle to come down to 155. If I were GSP I'd give BJ the rematch at 170, but I'd be thinking more about going UP to 185 to take on Silva.

In fairness to BJ, according to this article on MSNBC, he did complain to his corner during the fight that his legs were sliding down GSP's greased-up back, which I guess could have made it easier for GSP to pass. I didn't notice that happening during the fight, and the corner video I saw didn't show any vaseline being put on GSP's back (only his upper shoulder area), but who knows.

Since BJ decided to take a vacation in the middle of his training camp, I guess one could say that GSP had an unfair edge in conditioning, but that's it. I'm looking forward to watching GSP beat him again. After all that crap BJ talked about GSP being a 'quitter' and 'tapping out for strikes', it was great to watch BJ refuse to come out for round five. Who's the quitter now? Who taps out for strikes?

BJ Penn is such a cry baby. He needs to get over it. He lost. He needs to stop making excuses.

Actually there's quite a bit of evidence that GSP greases for every fight. Matt Hughes, Sean Sherk, Mayhem Miller and now BJ Penn all say he does. With the wrestlers GSP greases his legs, for the BJJ guys he greases his back.
