  • Mariners in 5!!!

That's what I'm saying. I was driving past Safeco Field last night and I got goose bumps thinking about the M's in the World Series. Sorry for the off topic blurb.

    F. Garcia was dealing last night. That was awesome, but Sasaki had me reaching for the TUMS.

I hate closers that keep shit interesting.

        F-Griffey

M's in 6. Screw the Yanks. My friend said the M's would be better without Griffey and I laughed at him. But he was right. Look at Cincy last year compared to this year. Screw Griffey that bastard. I hope he is enjoying his off season.

Chemistry is under-rated in baseball. Griff is a malcontent, a loser, and a cancer in "the room". He is a great talent tho... but talent is only part of the game. Balls, grit, and heart are huge also. Just look at the f*cken Dodgers. If Karros and the gang had the heart of REX HUDLER, they would be unbeatable.

No doubt, EJ. Look at last year's Red Sox. A bunch of no namers, save for Pedro and Nomar. Just a bunch of guys with hustle who came to play. Griffey was a cancer and the Mariner's success lends to that argument.

              M's up, 1-0 in the 4th.

                Go M's....

The Yankees are a team built on hustle, little ball, execution, heart and pitchen.

Sojo, Brosius, Glen Hill (Blue Jays world series teams), etc. are journeymen who know the game, and know how to win. Jeter and Bernie, Tino, O'Neil are true pros who sell out on the field.

They are a PROFESSIONAL, classy team... but their time is up.

Like BIRD sez, The Reds won 96 games last year, lost very little in players, and added a Hall of Famer... now they are mediocre. Don't blame their record on Pokey Reese.
