  • Just Saw The News!

That is shocking, to say the least.

From Italy my sincere condolences for all the victims of this coward attack.

May them all rest in peace.

Sardinia (my homeland) is the home of two of the biggest U.S. military bases in Italy (capo teulada and La maddalena island). Now they are on alert...

Italy president just released a message where he said that"a war had been declared to all the free world, Italy will do everything in support to U.S. people".

This is serious shit. Eye for an eye.

Yeah, this was some cowardly sheet pulled off.

    As Bryan's quote reads:
"You may not be interested in war, but war is interested in you,"

Rest assured this will not go unpunished.

For the most part, I don't agree with war, but this act of cowardice cannot go unpunished.

It's Pearl Harbor all over again.

What REALLY pisses me off is hearing reports that Palestinians are celebrating in the streets of Jeruselam. I think the PLO, or whomever is responsible for this treachery have taken on FAR FAR more than they can possibly fathom.

        Democrats, Republicans....Americans.....it's time to unite.

              ****ing A Lac!

I was deeply saddened by the news. All those innocent lives...

It's time to take off the gloves. This is definitely an act of war and any governments that have continuously supported terrorist need to suffer dire consenquences.

My prayers go to our fellow americans who suffer the most today. The famileis!

While I'm still trying to deal with my own feelings of anger, disgust, and sorrow, I think that the one positive thing that will come out of this insanity is a greater sense of unity. Not only for Americans, but for the west in general. This is a wake up call like Pearl Harbor, but at least with Pearl Harbor we knew who did it. I guess that will become clear in time.

                In solidarity,

                Tony

                  The Darkest day

I just couldn’t imagine my last seconds of life to look up from my desk and see a plane heading strait for my window. Then a horrible crash as the lights go out, the air clogs thick with smoke and screams echo around me. Imagine being up on one of the top floors and having to decide if you should jump 100+ floors and try to live, or make you way down through the flames…
Our Country may have its drawbacks and may not be loved by a lot of people but if we get pissed off and unite then nothing will stand in our way. These terrorists will be found and punished even if we have to go to war to do it.
I always try to find something good in a situation and the only thing I can think of is that we will have a strong unity as a country (like we did in WW2) These terrorists don’t have a clue who they are messing with.

                    cowards should pay... in spades!!!

whoever is responsible for this act should definately be dealt the harshest of punishments... i can't believe that something this horrible has actually happened... i mean come on... airplanes crashing into metropolitan cities are things that you only see in the movies... this s*hit is not supposed to happen in real life... i'm disgusted and saddened by all this tragedy... i really feel i need to throw up...

however, i can't help but feel that this horrible act of terrorism was in some way brought on by president Bush's shitty foreign policy towards Palestine and the Arab nations in general... granted, no amount of s*hitty foreign policy is grounds for the mass murder of tens of thousands of innocent men, women and children... i just feel that this tragedy could have been avoided all together.

it's not a coincidence that ONLY the United States is the target for all this terrorism. it's because the USA wants to be the world police and control and shape everything and the future to it's advantage... it's called globalization... the new world order... its reached a stage where extreme militant factions are the first to rise up and retaliate against the USA. Assuming that Osama bin Laden is responsible, you guys think that he would have still carried out these attacks if the USA had a different policy towards the Middle East? i don't think he would have... i've read interviews about him and he's an intelligent man... although he's definately going way out of his way to prove his point... and i ain't down with that... whoever is responsible needs to be dealt with...

i can't imagine the united states going to war with somebody... who would we go to war with? i guess we would either go to war directly with those responsible, if it's some rogue terrorist outfit... or go to war directly with which ever foreign country or government that is aiding / supporting this terrorist group... in either case, today is a horrible day...

my prayers go out to all those killed in the tragedy and to their families... let this event serve as a global wakeup call. we need to analyze this situation and ask ourselves why did this tragedy occur? what motivated these groups to perform such a horrible act? how can we solve this problem so that this will never happen again... anywhere in the world... i hope that the answer is much deeper than just: they're a bunch of crazy militant a*ssholes and deserve to die... because if that is our only answer, we're in much deeper trouble...

so much for strategic missle defense...

                      I will say this:

"Sometimes, you don't realize how much you love your country until it's attacked."

For so many years, I was convinced that if this country were to ever go to war, and they asked me to join the military, I would take a long drive to Canada.

After waking up this morning to such a tragedy, it was like my father was killed......it was like my mother was raped. If the time comes when my country calls upon me to help right this great wrong.......I'm there.

Thousands of my family members died in this horrible act today. Thousands in the family of America......the family that has been nothing but just to the people who committed this mass murder. I feel that we will once again see this nation's true greatness emerge from this travesty.

                      God will not abandon us.

And we will not abandon each other.

                      God bless America.

                        IDIOT

                        flyingclockchoke your a prick!!!
your accusing Presidnet Bush's foreign policy for this in any way shape or form is the most idiotic thing I have ever heard!! We should watch out for our interest in the middle east with our only ally Israel at all cost. Where do you get off with your communist rhetoric about the U.S wanting to control the world asshole?!! We have not enforced our will on other countries the way the leftist bastards and dictators of China, Russia, Cuba and the Middle East have. We are the target of there terrorism simply because we are the infidel Christians condemned by their core belief system, their Satanic Khoran. Look at their kids celebrating in the streets because they've been taught since birth that suicide killings of innocents are glorious. The simple truth is their basic belief system is twisted and sick and it is in direct conflict with our Judeo/Christian system, which you liberal idiots love to condemn but which has given us a greater freedom than any other country on the planet. Do me a favor before you open your mouth again and read up on some world history and see who has truly oppressed people and terrorized the world.

Qkfx, albeit in harsh tones, is correct.

This is something that has nothing to do with politics, only with the worst af all evils:religous fanatism.

Underdog - what is the news in France? I've heard that the press there said we deserved it or should have expected it for supporting Israel.

                              ABSOLUTELY, NOT!

France President, Chirac (sp?) expressed his uncoditioned support to the usa, claiming that france will support every effort to eradicate terrorism in the free world. Considering the fact that France has a LARGE muslim community his words were very strong and positively in favor of USA. UK premier Tony Blair had declared that "a War had been declared to all the free world and Great Britain will be in front line with USA in this, until all terrorist will be ERADICATED from world). The general consensous here in Europe is ALL in support of the USA.

Even the Pope, from Vatican had expressed condolences from the catholic community an a strong condamnation of this act.
