What do you guys generally think of Enshin Karate. I have been following this system for quite some time and must say that its simplistic approach impresses me. It uses very practical and real blocks and parries to position you to the blind spot of the opponent and then deliver a knockout blow. Its real fighting karate that stresses knees, low kicks, elbows, sweeps, takedowns, etc. Its founder, Kancho Joko Ninomiya is very impressive, breaking bats, ice, and everything you could imagine with his shins. We all know that Kyokushin Karate has stood up pretty well with Muay Thai. Does anyone know about Enshin Karate? I know that Enshin is an off-shoot of Kyokushin and Ashihara Karate.
