These guys have a website don't they? Maybe we should track this guy down and see if he'd like to be a guest at an upcoming seminar to see if his stuff works or not.

Ki is very powerful, no doubt. Simple disengagement of the mind is a great way of dealing with pain. Hey, I saw "Bloodsport"! But it's very difficult to achieve this level of 'ki skill'.

Peyton Quinn or Tony Blauer should form a workshop inviting all people of all arts to come test what they have in the stress/fear training they offer. Broadcast on cable PPview, and see how effective various arts really are against determined "Bulletmen" in simulated 'reality' situations.

It would also be interesting to see the manner in which novice practicioners and black belts behave.

Alas, I don't ever see this happening... and don't give me that crap about "the UFC or Pride" already does this....

bushijon, do I get to pick where I can hit you and can I hit you as much as I want? come on. it's just a very controlled trick. I'll admit it's impressive to some extent, but when you look past that it is only a trick.

That's a good point angel. I want to see one of them take a punch square to the nose and whether they can hold back the tears.

Didnt one of these Juko-Kai guys show up to a Guy Mezger seminar a while back? Or was that a Dillman student, another fraud victim. Invulnerable-karate-man says well that wont work on me and Guy drops him. Somebody here must know the story...

                        Oh and to Bushijon:

You are delusional. The "striking" that people are "withstanding" in Juko Kai looks like children.

I have a challenge for you that involves minimal public embarrassment, and you can even do it in your own hometown:

Go to a damn boxing gym. This will cost you nothing -- tell people that you cannot be hurt by blows and ask them to hit you hard. Bring Dr. Rod with you and tell them he is the master and he can take any full power shot they can give him.

When you or Rod wake up, go to a Muay Thai gym and ask for a shin to the neck.

After waking up from that and wiping the saliva puddle residue from your face, to to a Brazilian jiujitsu school and declare that you and Rod cannot feel pain and cant be choked out.

Anyway there's any number of ways you self-aggrandizing clowns can easily test out your theories and validate your existence, and align your training with reality. Have Grandma Sacharnoski take you guys on a field trip to a local boxing gym and ask the "master" if he has the stones to demonstrate his superiority by letting people who actually know how to punch (not throw granny punches) actually punch him. Let me bet you one million dollars right now to assure you neither Grandpa Rod, you, nor any of his students has the guts to face reality.

When you do, you will sing a different tune. And not from getting kicked in the balls either.

Both Dog Brothers and the Filipino methods are real deal unfortunately they were just guilty by association by being lumped in with the other arts shown.

Listen fellas I am not saying nobody can knock somebody jk out what I am saying is you are just seeing part of the art that we study. But as far as I am concerned all you want to do is insult people so have a nice day

It is a traditional minded martial art with a psuedo-cult mentality wrapped around it - the "impervious to blows" nonsense is a bonus.

When you're looking at a martial art's effectiveness, you are not looking at it as to how great a pastime it is, you are looking at how effectively it prepares you to fight.

If a JK practicioner is gonna get creamed by a boxer, Muay Thai guy, and BJJ guy in all attributes of fighting (technique, aggression, physical condition, reaction to realistic opponents) then maybe you should be taking those arts instead if you're serious about taking a martial art that is closer to realistically training you for real conflict.

I mean this is sort of moot - if you really had the guts to reality-check yourself and your art it's the easiest thing in the world to try it out at any boxing, Muay Thai, or BJJ school around. The difference is, they're used to going hard with full contact. You control your own enlightenment, dont let Grandpa Rod tell you, go and try it yourself. You'll either find out JK is all he said it was - or you'll find out you've been sold a delusional bill of goods.

Szczepankiewicz, please tell me your kidding! Peyton Quinns ideas of Reality Based training are pathetic, and those frigg'n Bulletmen only prepare you in your being attacked in an alien invasion.

I dunno, maybe I just dont get out much or dont have enough experience, but Ive never been attacked by someone with a 3 foot wide head. If anyone here has Id love to hear stories, then maybe Ill make a pilgrimage out to the RMCAT training facility.
