  • Back after a long layoff....

I'm finally gearing back up for practice. I've been out of the loop for almost a year. Actually, less, as I've been practicing off and on for the past year, but mostly off. Main reason being: lack of medical insurance.

So, I ended up channeling my energy elsewhere...actually, into the new motorcycle I own and basically tried to forget about grappling...because if I thought about it...I'd probably go to practice and get hurt.

So, in an effort to get back into the swing of things, I'm starting back up this Wednesday and also watching the UFC on the 28th. I'm sure these two things combined will get me back into it 100%....

and for those of you that hate me...I'll probably be back on posting more often....

Hey! Good to see some of the moldy oldies still hangin' around here. Actually, it's pretty cool.

Anyway, I'm actually kinda excited about the new UFC...granted, a lot of changes recently, but I haven't watched one in ages. I'm really looking forward to it. I was really interested to see how Vitor would do (damn, where's Pit Dog to exclaim Vitor is washed up and dropped out?), but you cannot win them all. I'll be happy watching Tito bitch slap someone around instead.

Here's a pick of bike #2. Makes a great means of transport to practice...the only problem is...I'm typically in no shape to drive it home! LOL.

thought riding without insurance more responsible than grappling?

                  jaysis.

off-camber, decreasing radius right-handers frighten me more than training.

Ah, no no no. I had insurance when I started back up riding...it's just the summer schedule of classes conflicted with my job.

Off camber turns don't scare those that enter at the proper speed.

                      Karl--

Thanks snookems. I missed ya! Oh...I dig the sponge.

proper speed difficult when enthusiam always puts braking point waaay behind you.
