question about jujitsu/boxing

Is there any web sites where you can download tutorials on techniques like ju jitsu take downs and boxing tips etc

I want to take lessons but I won't be able to afford it for a few months, so right now I've been learning a few things from a friend that used to take it, and trying to find online help. If you have any tips or sites that would be helpfull.

My opinion is to not do any training until you have a qualified instructor.

This is, of course, if you are new to the sports. There are many, many subtle parts to the techniques you see in videos or read about in articles.

But, if you have previous experience or your training partner is really experienced, then please disregard my comments.

Remember "Practice doesn't make perfect, Practice makes permanent".

If you learn something the wrong way and pick up some bad habits, you may end up hurt, or just doing something wrong without knowing it.
