Looking to go from 'recreational' kickboxing (sparring but not too competitive) to taking part in an amateur sanshou tournament next summer.
Reason? Want to do it before I turn 30, so I can say I've done it before I get too old.
What I need is as much advice as possible in building a training schedule - roadwork, strength, diet, drills - the whole caboodle, so I can get into fighting shape. All advice very welcome - I've obviously visited sanshou.com & .org, and there both good but I really need some specifics so if something has worked for you please let me know. All help very gratefully received!
