    Thanks Howdy- I think lol...
Anyway- I train a couple months a year. I m not a regular- But I do have "senority" over all but a few people on this coast. Lots of people come and go never to be seen again, old Bond takes a lickin but keeps on tickin . I wish i had time to train more, so i only progress at a snails pace. Not that I care, I specialise elsewhere. I am a personal trainer part time and mix it up insofar as training goes- My martial arts training is a small part of it. BJJ is an awesome cardio, as well as light strength and flexibility workout. This year Ive trained some at PerformanceJJ in Emerson. Its a sport BJJ gym and some of the guys there are pretty solid players. I also train some Judo in Westwood and Cranford. Last winter I did some Kickboxing stuff in Manhattan. I also Boxed and wrestled as a kid.
Your from Pa..Do you train at Maxercise? Years ago I trained a bit with Steve Maxwell at a couple Royce seminars. Hes a cool guy. . He was an original GJJ guy in that area. The first in Pa.
Peace. Out. I like this Icon below - Mousel is a rip. lol

MAY WILL BE MY THREE YEAR ANNIVERSARY........I JUST GOT MY BLUE BELT FROM RENZO ON 10/20/01........IT AMAZES ME THAT HOW EVERY CLASS YOU LEARN A LITTLE SOMETHING......AND JUST KEEEP BUILDING.......

So, now it comes out, "HOWDY"! Are you also a guard puller like the rest of Renzo's boys?

Listen dude, I fully agree that Baroni's a dick but that doesn't translate to him having a lack of skills. In fact, if either of the Serra boys meet him in NHB, I'll be more than willing to take your money in a little wager!

Speaking of Serra, he might as well get out of Dodge cause the man has no shot at doing anything in his weight. Who the hell can he beat at the 170 lb weight.

Carlos newton, Militech, Hughes, Sakurai, Anderson Silva, Triggs, Sherk, etc are just a few off the top that he has no shot of beating.

Maybe Serra should go to 155 lbs, but that wouldn't help either now would it.

It's cool to show loyalty to your boys but let's not be retarded. Almeida did lose! Getting DQ'd with a minute less after getting thrown and beaten all over the ring doesn't take your boy off the hook!

And, Almeida did fight in Pride before Lindland schooled him so don't make the ole inexperience excuse.

Btw: Take off your caps, meat!!

EITHER YOU WIN OR YOU LOSE......AND ALL THE EXCUSES ON THIS POST HAVE BEEN FOR LITTLE PHIL.......IF HE STAYED OFF THE JUICE HE WOULD BE DOWN TO 155 TOO............AND I'D LOVE TO TAKE YOUR MONEY.................CH

Naw man, I wouldn't make excuses for Phil.

I enjoy seeing him lose cause he does talk shit! I too saw his toughman exploits and read his posts on "intheguard". The guys irritating but that doesn't mean he's not legit.

This is NHB not some BJJ tourney and being a good wrestler and striker goes far!

Serra's going down to 155 Lbs, eh? BJ penn, pulver, Uno, etc better look out !

Either way, if Nick or Matt ever feel like stepping up to the roid boy, i'll give you a holler.....

No thanks Capt- That run is a bit too pricey for me. Between the tolls, the parking, and the $25 drop in fee, its too much.
I was at the old gym he and Craig KuKuk had years ago once- . I also rolled with many of that crowd years ago in Fairfield. Renzos guys are overall very good . II believe they won the team division in the National Grappers quest series. If your in Jersey, and want to check out Performance or one of the other gymsthere , give me a shout.

It would appear that Craig Kukuk is now in Boise, or at least training with the local BJJ guys.

                Check out www.primaltribefighting.com

If you can tell me anything about Craig I would appreciate it. Time's coming up for some crosstraining and if he is around he is my best bet at learning some BJJ.

                Much Thanks,

                SZ

Sure no prob SZczep.. (( Pleasssse hyphenate that screenname soon it maka me crazee)
Kukuk was teaching BJJ prior to the first U.F.C in 94 and is one of the first American Blackbelts. He had a couple locations, one in south Jersey and another in Manhattan for awhile. His guys were very good and his instruction was fine-. He then partnered up with Renzo Gracie and they had a problem with money/business and split up, with Renzo basically taking over the NY NJ operation. Since then , the team has progressedfurther and a couple of their guys have placed in the Worlds.
Kukuk - after the split up Disappeared for ayear, and as you noticed, resurfaced in Idaho. He was a bit expensive to train under here, but he is legit insofar as hisBJJ skills.

Baroni was taken down right at the fight's end so he was going to get a k.o. in the next minute like some people said.
