I posted in an above responce where I got mine from, theres a link there, theyre american pitbulls, Blues, brother and sister about 3 years old. Pits are not the right dogs for everyone, thats for certain.

theyre protection dummy. how hard is that to comprehend? lets see, I dont want someone breaking into my house, entering my proterty, etc, etc, so I have dogs to watch the place......maybe Ill buy a hotdog or some other heel hound so when the crook enters my property he can punt it across the room. My neighbor spent 300k on a security system, what a waste, but hey, it helps him sleep at night, and with 2 pitbulls roaming my property, i do too. Oh, and I have guns for the 2nd line of defense....and BJJ as a 3rd

Good question, I would try to avoid by making direct eye contact, keeping my mouth closed so he can't see my teeth and back away slowly, DOGS KEY ON MOTION!!!

If he's already attacking:
"bite em back" - could only happen if he has already clamped down on you (too much of a sacrifice, you would be lucky to survive)

"eye pokes" - the eyes are too hard to hit while the dog is moving due to the shape of the head (you would probably miss or glance off the side of the head and again you would be lucky too survive).

"chokes" - a choke would be a good death move (because dogs don't know how to tap out, just kidding!! ) but to apply a choke, you will have already been bitten (it could go either way, you or the dog would be lucky to survive)

"Kicks" - this would be taking advantage of our long range weapons and probably the best choice, however it is very difficult to kick a running dog and the target is very important!
A dog charges from the front so the chest and ribs are out because they are tucked under and behind the dogs primary weapon. (exception- a very fast dog that lunges up at you exposes his chest to your knee).
I would probably try a Front Kick or Chicken Kick and try to hit the throat, then hope my family visits me in the hospital.

Some Dogs (in extreme situations) are well suited to fight, they are intimidating when growling w/ exposed teeth, they are very fast, they will not stop, they don't have vital organs exposed to attacker they are tucked back and under, some breeds instinctively go for the throat and not let go, they all have a built in weapon positioned in front which they know how to use well, etc....

Just my humble opinion, and no animals or humans were injured during the making of it

-I did get a pet, ones I love to no end. Just because they would tear your ass apart or eat your child isnt anyones concern but mine. They are handled accordingly. The shit in Denver and other places are people who buy pitbulls that shouldnt own them, that cant control them, that think because the dogs are loving to them that they will be loving to you and me. They get into the wrong hands. And whats the most striking point Ive noticed about pitbulls.......most of those that own them, say theyre the best dogs in the world and wouldnt own anything but them, and people that have never had anything to do with them, just say bad things about them because they dont know shit about them except the bad press

-I saw a guy on "COPS" fight a german shepard they lets after him........he grabbed it under the belly and picked it up ALA a WWF move up over his head and with all his might he slammed the dog down onto the concrete.....awesome move, the dog made some gurguling sounds and passed out. The guy beat the shit outta some cops too, he was MMA expert, awesome fighter, they finally rat packed him all at once....his last move was to knee bar a cop that came up behind him, he didnt finish the move but I knew what he was trying

when I said eye pokes I should have said gouge, as from a grappling the dog situation, I read a story retold in a Peter Capstick book (greta author btw) about the one of the founders of taxidermy a Mr. Carl Akekley, who was attacked by a leopard and managed to kill it by shoving his hand UP THE THE ELBOW down the cats throat as it tried to bite him!, I believe he almost died from infection, being out in the African bush in the early 19th century was rough .

I saw the same episode, but that guy also got ripped a new one literally, I wonder how many stiches he got from that German Shepard?

so what about 2 or more dogs? having seen Hogs caught with dogs I think I'd be kicking as hard as I could hoping the buy some time?

interesting questions you dont hear too much about it but if you have ever had to back down a dog it would seem more relevant I am sure.

THE bullmastifs Ive seen look exatly like Pitbulls only 2 times bigger. so they probably could. But pitbulls, when used for dog fighting (which I dont like or agree with) but the pits are short and just the right heighth to rip a taller dogs throat out.

Yep the best fighting pits have traditionally been a little smaller than the other fighting pits aswell. Pitbulls really are the cream of the crop in terms of dogfighting very few people would dispute that.

What is bad for the dog? That it bites harder than other dogs? That it eats filet minon every night pratically? That is sleeps on its own leather sofa (and a nicer one than you ever owned and Ill bet money on that)? So I am bad for the dogs because they are given a better life you?
