I wouldn't agree:

You can't say one style is beat by another, its one man that is beat by another. Each man uses their own individual style. There are benefits of Karate that you can't find in:

kung fu
boxing
wrestling
brazilian jiu jitsu
muay thai

Every art has something and does something better than the other art. I don't know what image of karate you guys got, but where I train, you come home with a sweaty uniform, and bruises on your body from where the instructor hit you....Look into some of the real karate - Ashihara, Kyukoshin, Seidokan, Mass Oyama's stuff - take out the high kicks and you have one lethal learning method. I bet my fifty-something year old instructor can hit the bag harder and longer than anybody in this forum.

Just like there are millions of different kinds of kung fu, there are millions of different kinds of karate....some lethal, some for sport, some for old people.

So you mean to tell me some old dude doing Tai Chi Ch'un could've beat up Mass Oyama???

Don't dis all karate, its not all the same.
