On the Brazilian TV show "A Hora de Luta" tonight, Rickson Gracie was interviewed and at one point said "Mr. Sakuraba esta merecendo levar umas porradas". English translation--

"Sak deserves an ass-kicking"

It sounds like he has changed his tune about Sak not having any aura, and now if actually looking for a fight. Of course, I don't think we can read too much into this...just FYI.

Patterson, I dont think sak derserves an ass kickin. If any thing he deserves respect. But then again he didnt beat half of my family. I think ricksons comment (if indeed he said it) is normal. Wheather or not he'll fight sak, thats his problem. But if he does(most likely won't) I think he can pull it off.

Rickson is the one who deserves an ass kicking

Sakuraba has done nothing but step up to all his challenges consistently and overcome against great opponents. He has shown true humility and the heart of a warrior. And although he has a weird sense of humor, he never talks trash about anyone. Rickson has just shown that he is too immature to handle the fact that Sak has beaten his brothers fair and square time one after the other. I understand that Rickson would be ticked off. It'd be great to hear Rickson say "Sak deserves an ass kicking...so I'm going to get in the ring and give it to him." But the fact remains that Rickson will not fight Sak. He simple sits on the sideline smack talking. If he was a true warrior like Renzo, he'd simply get in the ring and give it his best without making any excuses...and give credit where credit is due. Instead he avoids the main event by demanding humongous amounts of money and hides behind lame victories over mediocre opponents. If he is gonna talk crap like that then why isn't he the one in the ring? That's pathetic. I expect more from a guy of his caliber. If anyone deserves a spanking its HIM. Sakuraba is just the man to give it to him. But I bet he's too chickensh!t to even give Sak the chance...I'm hoping he proves me wrong.
