    Er...no...

The arts taught at his school are:

    Jeet Kune Do
    Submission Grappling
    Kick boxing
    No holds barred fighting
    Boxing
    Kali

No Wing Tsun in the mix, I'm afraid...

You could just mosey (mosie? mosy?) on down to: www.defend.net - there's a description of the school in there.

Fair amount of Wing Chun in JKD, though...

Well I signed up to the WingTsun class for six months to see how I like it. I'll be haging around the forum to see what I learn from you guys on the forums.

Hello Uncle Max..I am happy that you found wing Tsun work for you..but i am an advocate in crosstraining, having crosstrained myself from Korean arts now to Filipino Martial Arts(Kali/Arnis Escrima), it really opened my mind to what it is like to see the whole picture. I encourage you to train in Wi ng Tsun and Taekwondo as well, and try to see Kali Arnis Escrima. Tim Mousel's scoll teaches it and i am open to see you and show you what Kali can offer. In the martial arts world, there are only two things a person can be, either asports martial artist or a combat martial artist..if you choose sports, look for the people who teaches point martial arts, but if you look for combat..see those who have experienced the real thing, and i bet a lot here in houston can show you just that.
          God Bless.

Uncle Max, I am glad to have been of some assistance. It's nice to hear from someone with a truly open mind.

Bri Thai, you have no reason to try to talk down to me. You may believe you are Don Rickles, but guess what: no one is laughing. For the last time let me make this clear: I AM NOT A WOMAN!

I was under the impression that Bri Thai was, in fact, Don Rickles' martial arts alter ego. I do so hate to be disabused of my idealistic delusions.

                    Uncle Max,

Let's look at a more important question here. WHY do you want to study martial arts. With that info, I can better answer your question. Each Art offers different things. Let me know why you want to take it, and then I'll answer you more descriptively.

"I do so hate to be disabused of my idealistic delusions."

Is that something to do with using your imagination during self abuse?

Well the best courses I have ever taken were USA Ju-jitsu, BRZ Ju-Jitsu, and aikido. BRZ and USA Ju-jitsu are FUN classes its a whole another world from Judo. And if you enter in USKA tournaments you usually have the upper hand since most fighters are Kung-Fu and TKD or Isshinryu. No offense to anyone who takes those.
