Have any of you got or seen Chris Haueter's "Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Streetfighting" video series?

Click here and scroll down to bottom

I'm thinking about getting the whole set cause it looks cool, but haven't heard many opinions about it, so if anyone knows, how does it compare to other BJJ video's on the market?

Also, if you only got 3 of them, which ones would you choose out of the 6?

If you don't know anything about the videos, at least please comment on what you think of them from the descriptions!

I think you would be better off getting Mario Sperry's Vale Tudo Tapes:Mario Sperry

50+ views and only 1 reply?

Come on people, I won't let this thread die until I get more opinions!

Just tell me what you know/think of the series?

I'm a BJJ'er, but I don't think I'd ever buy a tape series that uses BJJ alone for street defense.

Hey, this video series is NOT saying RELY on BJJ for street defense!

It's just showing how to modify competition-style BJJ for more effective use when you have no choice but to use it to save your ASS on the street! No lapels and submission-only grappling on the street, duh!

Goodness, why is it when 'street' is mentioned everybody thinks being a Muay Thai and Weaponry's expert is all that can save your ass and that all of a sudden, even though BJJ is so effective in NHB, it's completely 'null and void' for saving your ass on the street, even though streetfights more often than not go to the ground whether you f*ckin' WANT them to or NOT!

I've posted this thread on a few other web-forums already, but I always seem to get the same dumb-ass comments posted back at me, it makes me so mad, do I sound like THAT much of an idiot, just by asking for comments on a damn "Street Jits" video series!

I wouldn't trust any single JKD or whatever video series to prepare me totally and wholly for the street either, but every bit helps!

'Streetfights' aren't just fights on the worst possible terrain imaginable, such as a broken-glass covered asphalt street in Harlem!

ANY fight that is not NHB or Competition is classified as a streetfight, even fights in the park, at a footy game, club, or workplace, etc.

Sorry but I just get mad being unjustifiably taken for an idiot!

If any HELPFUL comments telling me something I don't ALREADY know are available, please send them in!

I know that his tapes come highly reccomended by matt thornton at straightblast. When he talks about street bjj he always mentions chris. I haven't seen them though. You might e mail matt from his website. straightblastgym.com and ask.

Unfortunately I cannot comment directly about the tapes because i have not actually seen them. But you seem desperate for at least some sort of feedback so i thought i'd offer you what i can. I earned my blue belt under Chris before he became a police officer and had to stop teaching at the place i was training at. Although i haven't seen his tapes i will say this: whatever chris has to say about using Bjj in a street fight I would listen to! The man has a very diverse background in MA, and of course he's a great bjj player. He has a very practical approach and outlook on MA and he always offered great incites regarding realistic fighting applications of bjj skills. What i really liked about training my grappling under chris is that he did not limit his teaching to the purely technical and/or competitive side of bjj. He made sure that we kept the street applications in mind. He pointed out more than a few things that i would not have thought of. I really wish i could've continued my training with him.
