So SZ, you are basically admitting that BJJ rules are closer to reality than TKD rules? Aha! A breakthrough!

Anyone who posts on a thread and spoils a fun TKD bashing session deserves to take a double-spinning-hook-flip kick to the head!

C'mon, we all know BJJ is more effective than TKD!!! Anyone who doubts this is an ignorant moron!
o you wanna throw guarantees around. i bet you couldnt even tap me out and im a white belt about to be yellow belt. i could probably kick you in the face then take you down. what you dont understand is theres 2 kinds of people in the world. theres weak and theres strong. you dont grasp the concept of this. some people have a hard time learning things and look like total idiots. tkd for example. most of the people who do it have no intensity what so ever and have no knowlede of grappling and are very weak. they also have little to no technique. and then there are people who know that they look like an idiot, so they fix it. learn to adjust, have strength, mostly mentally if not phisicaly. so with that said you either give me a call and we will fight, or you can call my tkd instructor up. im not one of these people who respect the art. i dont love my sensia, mostly because this shit cost so much money and its a crime. i dont like to bow and do all that crap. and i think tkd is dumb. but i like to have kicks in my arsenal. not just any kind of kicks, lots of them. i already know punches i already know knees and elbows. so no need for muy thai. i also already know how to choke some one its not hard to do. but when i see the black belts roundhouse kicking and almost taking my face of, it makes me a little catious knowing it can break a board or two. also there are judo like trips and joint locks in tkd. so if you were to attack a black belt you would most likely have a hard time. tkd is not useless, its only is if your a bitch who dosnt know how to use it. and if your completey clueless. thats the only way bjj would win

I have no respect for a style that tells it's practitioners that it is good for self-defense, but then proceeds to teach a bunch of fancy kicks and ridiculous forms and engrain bad habits into it's students via point sparring, and to top it all off having a total lack of grappling in it's curriculum!

And don't give me none of this bullsheet about how only the Mcdojo TKD clubs are like this, cause THEY'RE ALL MCDOJO!

The fact is that the vast majority of TKD instructors preach self-defense, whether they actually believe it or not, and that is simply unforgivable!
and yet another BJJ drone makes his appearance. . . .

I've heard the claims but it seems like nobody wants to talk about the Judoka that submits the BJJ guys...

If a BJJ white belt wants to be kicked into next week, more power to him/her...

"DOOD KALARIPPAYAT WOULD TOTTALLY DOMINATE THOSE CHOY LI FUT WUSSIES!!!!!!"

"you are so dum choy li fut has the small palm blossum form i would use it to skool your dum kalarippayat ass ten times before breakfats"

"Your both stoopid! Maylasian Peninjuan Bersilat is teh bomb!!"

Stupid post. Depends on the quality of the fighter. If a 300 lb all muscle ex wrestling BJJ white belt went up against a TKD blackbelt who was 110 lbs itd be a pretty obvious answer. Not enough information...Dont bash TKD cause of what some get rich quick americans have done to it. Call it Strip Mall Tae Kwon Do...
