I wa just reading an article on the net, out of Black Belt I believe, and they were talking about shotokan on the ground. They were saying that shotokan emphasized the one strike method. They then said that it also contained throws, sweeps and some groundwork in case one strike did not work.
I am not trying to say shotokan is an ultimate art, just curious if anyone has ever heard this, or better yet, knows for sure about it. I do realize as well that each school may have differences in them.
