  • LOL Zeke! No your right I don't think I can beat Tyson or any of those guys.

I just seen too many boxing/BJJ fights where big-punch fighter cannot even get shot off, and you know what happens then.

Tysons a great puncher but he's a freak and he look like a damn gargoyle.

    • Just watch some Royce Gracie fights and you will see that Royce is very good at keeping a punchers arms tied up as to avoid not getting punched.Royce will use his arms and legs to hold tysons arms so Royce doesn't take a serious hit.

      • Give up, Robbie. It's no use.

If these guys want to believe that Mike Tyson can take out the Incredible Hulk, let them.

Apparently the thick skull you need to be a good boxer has its disadvantages.

          • Okay, I think I have seen every fight Royce has ever fought. He has never fought anyone even remotely like Mike Tyson. The best punchers who have ever entered NHB do not compare to Tyson. They don't even compare to Lou Saveresse or Buster Mathis Jr. Sam Adkins was always listed as a boxer by the UFC. He had a record of about 3-11 fighting nobodies in Texas. If he went into the ring with Mike Tyson, a promoter would get charged with being an accessory to murder. The same for Milton Bowen(He lasted less than 25 seconds with Shannon Briggs). Art Jimmerson was another hand picked fighter. He made himself even less effective by wearing one glove. Lamar Clark is a boxer, he has about a .500 record and was recently K.O.ed in two by Charles Brewer. On the other hand, Don Frye had some Professional boxing experience and he was sucessful in the UFC. In fact he challenged the Gracies and did not get a response. Why do the promoters of NHB always list the guys like Adkins as boxers(he was a high school champion wrestler), but they list Frye as a wrestler. It is because they were trying to convince the paying public that their guys could beat boxers. Apparently they were sucessful with many people. Look at Belfort, certainly not a good boxer, but he punched better than the others in NHB. As one guy mentioned earlier, if Belfort could not make the Brazilian Olympic boxing team, he wasn't much of a boxer. Don't judge the effectiveness of boxers in NHB until a real boxer enters a NHB contest.

            • Zeke:

Fair enough, but it's just as arrogant for you guys to claim that Mike Tyson would clean house in MMA when he hasn't even been a legit BOXING champion in years.

When he steps up, let me know. I will take back every mean thing I have said on this thread if Tyson knocks out even ONE MMA fighter whose name I recognize.

              Heck, Travis Fulton would do.

                • ***We seen enough BJJ vs. boxing to know how that's gonna go. I guess you guys haven't seen a lot of the early UFCs, who knows maybe you're young. There was even once some jackass who came in wearing boxing gloves and everything and he was grounded and pounded by some no-name not evne close to Royce's ability.***

But you have never seen Tyson vs. Gracie. Or anything worth comparing. Seeing a boxer vs a bjj guy isn't going to tell the outcome of a Tyson/Gracie fight. That is plain ignorant.

***You gonna tell me some sack of ---- like Tyson gonna somehow out-grapple a black belt in BJJ like Royce then punch him out. This is back to the future literally.***

Haha. "Out-grapple"? No. He's not even going to attempt to out-grapple him. He's going to attempt to knock him out, which I believe he has the ability to do.

                  • Most of you guys really crack me up. Truly worriers of the keyboards.

Hey joe, I guess you are this "funny troll guy" and everything, but my friend, you are having way too much fun at other people's expense. Don’t you have any respect all? Do you know what a "midget" like renzo can do to you? If you're ever in New York City, please dude, let me know, and I'll gladly make the introduction. Just do me one favor, no pissing on our new mats.

                    Funny guys...

                    • Playa you are truly ignorant. And you obviously dont have any clue about the power of a WORLDCLASS boxer. Now I train MMA and I try to be a well rounded fighter but I know boxers. Boxing is a regular part of my traing. And i bet You couldnt go 3 rounds. Anyhow if tyson were to fight he has the money to get the best training he wants. A few months of grappling with his boxing skills and he would be undestructable. same goes for all top boxers

                      • Okay, this isn't a great example, but it will have to do. Tyson is like Tank Abbot. Tank Abbot, more than half the time will go to the point of exaustion. Tyson would not. Tyson is probably in better shape than some of these NHB fighters. So think of Tyson as a Tank Abbott with better condtioning and better punches.

There we have it. Tyson would walk in there, if he doesn't land the first few punches he'll muscle his way out of a grapple situation and beat on the Gracie.

I love debating with you guys!

Tank Abbott? Here is a list of the top fighters Tank Abbott has beaten:

                          John Matua
                          Paul Varelans
                          Steve Jennum
                          Sam Adkins
                          Cal Worsham
                          Steve Nelmark
                          Yoji Anjoh
                          Hugo Duarte

Yes, you guys are right! With a few days of grappling training Tyson would be just as "undestructable" as Tank Abbott!

                          LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                          • Tyson is nothing like Tank Abbott.

When comparing punching power and hand skills, saying Tyson is like Tank is like saying Carman Electras ass is like Scott Ferrozo's. Please, I know Tyson is washed up, but he is light years ahead of Tank.

Definately. I said so in my post. The reason Tank has lost against anybody has 9 times out of 10 been because of his bad conditioning. Imagine Tank Abbot with awesome conditioning. He WOULD have beat Severn. He may have beaten Smith. The only reason he seem's to lose is because he can't go the distance. Tyson could. And that's why I made the comparison. Tyson is like Tank Abbott x 5. Stronger, quicker, and can last longer. Tyson will not gas out and fall into a submission like Tank.

I'd love to see this fight. God, I'd love to. We should start a campaign or something!
