Can your dummy be used for practicing striking? Can it be made to stand continuously for this?

Bubba
To anyone who actually has a Bubba Dummy I have some questions:
1) Can it be set in any position or does it only lay in the basic positions like kneeling, on back etc? Reason I ask is I'd like to practice escapes from all kinds of ground positions and wonder if I can make bubba do a headlock on me, or go to knee on chest . You get the point, I'd like to put bubba in hundreds of positions to practice on not just 2 or 3.
2) If you had a choice, to invest $$ in bubba, or to attend an extra class or two in grappling a week, which one would be better more conducive to learning? I ask because the school I'm enrolling in is a good 1 hr away and I can either attend 3 classes a week and buy a Bubba, or attend 4-5 classes a week without a bubba and spend the $ on gas, laundry bills. etc...
