long reply.. names and locations witheld to protect the innocent

    1. Me: I dug up a little info on this guy. I guess he's a freestyle jujitsu guy. He isn't *funny name* is he?

    2. Instructor: Let me think for a minute, I think *bogus student* came to class once for about a month or two, and *bogus instructor* is a 5th degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, from what I hear at least....strange though, he started studing jiu-jitsu about the time or a little later than I did......
    :0( lol

    3. Me: A 5th degree black belt? What the ****? Are you sure we're talking about the same guy? The *bogus instructor* I came up with was schooled in japanese jiu-jitsu. It didn't say anything about Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. As a matter of fact I believe he's a 5th degree black belt in japanese jiu-jitsu. I told *bogus student* that when I come up to grapple with him, that I would prefer he take it easy with heel hooks. He told me he didn't really know any leg locks.
*Bogus student* studies something (jiu jitsu or jujutsu) under *bogus instructor* in *whatever town*.

    4. Instructor: LMAO!!!!

    5. Me: *website address witheld* His name is listed on there. It says freestyle jujitsu. Is that the same as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu? Maybe he's a black belt in both?

    6. Instructor: Let me say this for the first and LAST time...now pay attention STUPID!! Are you listening? One of my blue belts tapped *bogus instructor* ....did you hear that? Now go ahead and put your *bogus* outfit on...You just graduated to *bogus school*!!

    7. Me: How many of those *bjj training* videos do you have? I wanna borrow some more from you. There's a lot of good **** on them.

Did I ever give you your videos back?

    8. Instructor: No you cannot borrow them, there is more information in them than a *bogus school* man can handle...

    9. Me: Nevermind. I found your videos laying next to my couch. I need to give those back to you.

But I do want to borrow some more of those *bjj training* videos if you have anymore.

    10. Instructor: Borrowing the videos is not the point *Mr Poopy*, it is the direction you are going, I am not going to have you associating with my school if you are going to be hanging with those dudes.....when I told my former assistant instructor that you were inquiring about *bogus student*, he fell on the bed laughing so hard, he said he about got sick, he could not stop laughing!!

    11. Me: Not to say anything bad about your blue belts... they have better ground ground skills than me. But this *bogus student* says he's competing in a MMA event next april. Apparently he has a whole group of guys that will be competing there.

He'll be getting his ass handed to him in a MMA fight, won't he?

    12. Instructor: Ther is no other *language witheld* SCHOOL in this area who has put out the people that we have....you have not been around enough to know what he have done...let me see, if I am not incorrect this *language witheld* *bogus student* showed up with shorts and a vest with skullbones on them and thirteen knives on his person...he later shows up at my class with a gi that said instructor on it, and he didn't know a ****** thing about martial arts...and then later I found out he was beating up kids much younger than he at school...well....he quit school!!
    Geez!

    13. Me: *In response to number 6., and obviously just kidding and speaking up to defend myself* You want to get armbared don't you?

    14. Instructor: When met *bogus instructor* a little while later he was getting his black belt from *bogus instructor's instructor*, and it was not Jiu-jitsu!! A little while later I met *uninvolved person* in *some town* and he had two black belts in two different types of jiu-jitsu and I beleive he was a second dan in both, in addition to what he learned from *famous MMA person*, and *bogus instructor* knew nothing compared to what *uninvolved person* knew. And now you tell me *bogus instructor* is a 5th degree?!?! I heard this a while back and I knew it was impossible....so did everyone else!! *bogus instructor* came to *another famous MMA person's* seminar and only watched and told me he already knew what *another famous MMA person* had showed, interesting because I had been doing brazilian jiu-jitsu longer than he had and alot of *another famous MMA person* showed me I had never seen before.....I have shown *some dude in another place* stuff when he was a purple belt that he had never seen before, and I was a blue.

Enough of this, if you are going to workout with those dudes do not associate yourself with our school, you have already embarassed us on two occassions now, buy not doing good against the wrestler at work and being tapped with an armbar at *yet another omited name's* place....especially after we taught the armbar THAT NIGHT!!

    15. Me: I don't believe I'll be coming back to your class anymore. Please let me know when I can bring your videos back. I would like to get my book back also.

    16. Instructor: No problem I think it is for the best also, I will let you know when we have class, the holiday season has our schedule pretty screwed up.
    Good Luck

It sounds like this teacher is more concerned about their reputation then helping thier students learn and avoid this same issue in the future. The Whacked up thing about it is their telling you to scram is what is actually hurting their rep..

That sound pretty **bogus** to me. This IS still a free country and you can train with whomever you wish. An instructor can tell you that so-and-so is an idiot and to be wary but the way he talked about you not representing his school shows that he obviously didn't trust you very much to begin with and for him to say you embarrassed his school only shows what a pompus ass he is.
        Good riddance to bad rubbish.

I won't be returning to this dudes class. This Saturday I'm starting Judo. I've worked out with a local Judo club in the past but I'm going to do it exclusively now. They are much nicer people and the environment is better. Maybe I won't turn into a super submission expert but they'll really improve my stand up game. And there's a lot more Judo tournaments around here than grappling tournamnets.

Maybe I should go make your Instructor tap out. Then does he have to leave? Who was the Instructor? Tapping is essential to learning. I will kick some one out of class for not tapping. So will Master Relson Gracie. A tournament is one thing, but class, come on thats where you learn, your suppost to tap. I have given too much to students before on the mats & had to tap, but how can you learn your body's limits if you don't test them? So is that John doing an arm bar on that stomping ass site? Who ever it is doesn't have it on right, it is sloppier than one of my white belts.

GRACIEAUSTIN, it no longer matters. I don't know any of the people on the that stompingass.com thing.

I believe the main thing that pissed my former instructor so much is that I decided to work out with a particular person or maybe it was the group that person was affiliated with. And it was him calling me an embarrassment that pisses me off. But again, it doesn't matter now.

GRACIEAUSTIN, have you ever met any Judo players with a tight ground game? These local guys I'm going to work out with are pretty good, and the Instructor is really good (because he's done BJJ to supplement his Judo). Don't get me wrong, I'm not going there just to grapple with them. I like Judo throws and they have a strong stand up game.

                            Poopy,

If you get a chance to come to Downingtown, PA then stop by Downingtown Athletic Club. You can train with us under Sergio "Bolao" Souza and Alexandre Britto. Then you can go tap your instructor yourself.
