  • Dog grappling

Does anyone else here grapple with their dog? I have a big lab and grapple with him almost every day.

I've got some killer techniques that I use on him.

I'm being totally serious about this. I know there are other people that wrestle with their dogs.

i have no idea how grappling a dog will help you with grappling human beings. on man this is original.

It doesn't. You have to modify everything to make it work. But if you have a dog and he's up for it, it's a lot of fun. You've always got someone to work out with.

I rent an orangutang from the local zoo and spar with his big ass.

That's nothing, my aunt works at a zoo and she let me take home a guerilla to fight with. I like to call my art guerillajutsu.

You can put me down of you want, akja, but I'm not alone.

I love grappling with my dog and he loves grappling with me.

Sorry Poopy, I just thought it really funny. AGAIN SORRY!

Seriously My In-Laws used to have pit/boxer mix and he used to like to play and one day while he was aggressive my natural instint was to open my legs and put him in the guard and he almost bit my jewels.

DON'T MAKE THAT MISTAKE, IT CAN BE FATAL!

I tried to grapple with my brothers cat but she wont stand for it and runs away. My friend has a big saint bernard and he likes to wrestle but he is so big that its hard to take him down and lock him up but he is a trip to get going.

I love my dog, but I really wish he was bigger. He's 85 pounds but still pretty easy to toss around and takedown.

This thread is sounds kinda strange...

I used to wrestle with our Old English Mastiff quite a bit. He was about 185 lbs. (and not even full grown) of pure muscle so he could be quite a handful. I certainly had some training benefits from the experience.....and it was a hell of a lot of fun.

And no, I don't have any pictures
