Hello Ryu...Congratulations on receiving your full instructorship from Paul Vunak.
After having trained with Vunak at such a high level, how would you deal with a streetfight? Would you still try to clinch and slam your opponent to the ground? Or would you attempt to use RAT first, then go to the ground only if you were taken there? Obviously you would try to use RAT in a mass attack situation, but if it were definetly going to be a one on one fight, would you still go to the ground first? Or would it depend on your opponent?
I trained with Vunak a couple of months ago, and it was definetly an interesting experience.
RAT is a good system, but it does tend to leave you open to a takedown, so if you were fighting a grappler, would you still use it?
Thanks...
