k1 i noticed alot of the fighter are karate so i'm not sure.

or fc pride fighting which is i guess a little better calculated fighting from what i hear.

I really like Pride the most! I like the fights and how they go about. I also like the judges best in Pride!

Hands down PRIDE is the best. They have the highest caliber fighters in the world there, and its much more respectful. Unlike UFC which is turning down the road of a WWF freak show now, with a crowd that is just thirsty for blood and care nothing for the sport or skill.

Pride has Sakuraba so it is the best.

hearing the rumors about sak's retirement makes me sad.. not that he doesen't deserve a break! he has had a long and _hard_ carrier! but it will be empty without him! his style and humour is great

Sakuraba will be fighting in August. He might reconsider retiring if he wins. He hasn't been the same after losing to Vanderlei Silva. Have you seen Genki Sudo fight? He's fun to watch also.

Yeah, Genki Sudo is cool, the master of the flying armbar and spinning rear naked choke .

Me, I really like K1, the ultimate in striking art competition . It's suprising how good boxing is against Muay Thai .

Check out Ernesto Hoost from Holland. His techniques are about 70% boxing and 30% Muay Thai.

Not to mention his speed and power!

Don't forget Genki's flying triangle. Yeah, I like k-1 also. My favorite k-1 fighter was and still is Andy Hug. His axe kick would make tkd guys jealous. I also like Cro cop.

Since when did hand gear go back to being optional in UFC?
