you start off with 50lbs at the biceps curl with the right hand, take as many reps as you can do, then you take off 5lbs (no break) and do as many as you can, take off 5lbs, do as many as you can do.. and so on until you are down at 5lbs.. it hurts like hell, and it feels like hell the day after too.. but are these effective?
With some excersises I do that. I think it leads to a greater build up of lactic acid since your tiring your muscles out the first time then continuing to excersise them over and over again. It probably improves endurance... and your ability to control pain
