Wing chun, what an intersting little MA. I used to do Wing chun. It focues on keeping close and blocks by using snapping motions or friction. The way they teach you to punch is interesting as well. It somehow trains you to be able to deliver a blow within shorter distances of lets say, a sucker punch and still do the same amount of damage.

Because i believe that in most situations i get in, i believe a fight usually begins with a tackle, take down, etc, and ends with one guy mounting you and bombarding you with punches or choking you. Thats why i do BJJ

I do Thai Boxing and have done so for a while. I dont have any problems with punching. I believe if it takes a long time to get right then its probably not worth doing. Most probably anyway.
Im not sure the WC punches are strong enough, especialy not strong enough to deter a grapler getting in.

wing chun punches are different than any other punch. The punch is sort of like a snapping motion. It looks like a regular punch, but if the punch is executed correctly it can cause tremendous pain within short distances. Bruce Lee was famous for this.

Ive heard this but i think that its not an advantage. It just takes to long to get right. I prefer rapid boxing combinations.
