pick any 2 martial artists to be the ultimate fight, who would they be? I would love to see seagal take on rickson gracie...it would be a good fight, but I dont really know who would win...I wonder if aikido is effective against a bjj expert...I think that style is not really so much the issue, it really depends on the persons drive and motivation...what does everyone else think? someone can be an awesome aikidoist and someone could be a bad bjj expert...it works both ways I believe...

I think Rickson taps him inside of a minute.
Segal was a very good aikidoka by all accounts (7th Dan??). He was also about 100 lbs. lighter back in the day. Still, I don't think aikido goes a lot of ground work (just some locks from the knees), so if Rickson takes him down, then Segal is pretty much flapping around. End of fight comes quickly after that.

Here is your answer from Lebell's own website:
Bob Wall, a former world professional karate champion and friend of LeBell's used to bring martial arts stars Chuck Norris and Bruce Lee to train in karate and judo with LeBell. Wall and Norris were co-owners of a karate school. "The first time Lee sparred with Gene, Gene picked him up and held him overhead," says Wall. "Bruce said, 'When you put me down, I'm going to get you,' so Gene just kept him up there a while. Gene is absolutely the toughest man alive."
I think a few years back he kicked Segal's ass on the set because Segal was giving him attitude and trying to be a tough guy. This was before Segal was a whale and when Gene was like 60-something. I think there is a thread around here somewhere about it.

There are no second chances.
