  • Tua vs Lewis.......

I was kind of pumped about this fight until I read about the round mound of rebounds weight.

Freakin Tua's coming in at 245 lbs and 5'10. I know the fat boy hits hard, but what good is it when you're gassed and prayin for something to eat by round 5.

Reminds me of Abbot when he fought Rizzo. I picked ole Tank to win because he was in great shape (for Tank) against Hugo a couple of months earlier. Then you see him step into the ring and his ass looks like a sumo wrestler.

Like Tank, Tua drops more to exhuastion than punches and gets TKO'd round 5.

Keith...wrong! Tua may be heavy, but to compare the guy to Tank, you must be on drugs...not that there's anything wrong with that...

Tua will not gas. He can fight 12 rounds at this weight. But I don't think he can win a decision. His best chance is to come out bombing and hope to take out Lewis early. I would like to see that. Because that means a probable Tua-Tyson war.

But more than likely we are going to see a 12 round borefest. Lewis will not like Tua's power so he will try to catch Tua coming in, then clinch and tie him up...all night long.

      Lewis by decision. zzzzz.

Lewis is going to want to fight on the outside, because if Tua can get in close Lewis is probably in trouble. Lewis has a pretty good chin, but I wouldn't be surprised if Tua knocks him out. I see Tua by knockout, or Lewis by decision. The winner may fight Tyson! That will be interesting.

To compare Tua with Tank is incrediably insulting, you might as well compare your mom with the local crack whore....

If you want to compare Tua with a MMA fighter then Vochanchin would be a good choice since both Tua and Igor have alot of heart, lack tecnical skill, very good cardio, and are a KO threat at any time.

The most probable outcome is Lewis by majority decision but note that Tua has been behind before on the judges cards and manages to come back and KO his oponents, he never gives up. Lewis win by KO is unlikly since Tua has a granite chin. Possiably Tua will try to use body shots (one of his strengths) to slow down Lewis and attempt to decapitate him later on with his devastating left hooks. If Lewis plays it safe a decision win is a sure bet since Lewis should outbox Tua and win the majority of the rounds but if he loses focus Tua will be ready and will take advantage of the moment to pounce on him and Lewis's chin will be hard pressed to withstand the power of Tua's shots.

Lewis does not not have a good chin. He was stopped by Oliver McCall with one punch in the first round. Lewis has also been rocked by Evander and Shannon Briggs. Yet I still think Lewis will win by decision. As for Lewis clinching aggresively I hope the referee definitely warns him and takes points of if he does it to much.

Lewis has had a good chin from what I've seen. He's taken some good shots from Holyfield and Botha, and managed to come back, and win.....

Nice analogy of comparing my mom with a crackwhore. Jack ass!

What's so insulting? They both only have one punch: tua- left hook/ Tank-over hand right. And They both don't box very well. Vov on the other hand can hurt you with both fists.

But, you're right with your Tua observations in general. I'm definitely wrong with the stamina comparison. It turns out Tua was in excellent shape and had no problem going 12. Unfortunately, lewis is an excellent boxer. It's not what I would pay to see but it wins boxing matches.

Tua needs to learn how to throw a right and he might make a fight out of it if there's a next time.

hey, that was a joke...unless your mother is the local crack whore....

The reason I found it insulting is because Tua is one the most worthy oponents to face Lewis. Unlike Abbott that most would consider a high level B fighter ala Goodridge rather then a contender.

Too bad Tua choked when he got his big chance. He let alot of his fans down. Lewis on the other I give props for facing another good fighter rather then facing canon fodder. People dont like his style but he does what is needed to be done and definatly wins. Lewis is cleaning out the division leaving him left with over the hill Tyson and a few young promising boxers but not ready to face the champ like Kirk Johnson and Vladmir Klitchcov.

Hey fil, I knew you were joking, bro! Just a poor choice. I'm kind of like Sweepem when it comes to family sh!t.

Anyway, Tua was a worthy contender for lewis and most definitely an "A" caliber heavy weight.

But, Tanks not a "B" level fighter either when he prepares properly for a fight. Unfortunately, Tank only got in shape for a couple of fights during his mediocre career. I always felt the guy could have been a top heavy if his head wasn't up his ass. Although, wrestlers would have punched his ticket regardless (Bad matchup for fatboy!).

Regarding the fight, It's too bad Tua didn't turn it into a brawl instead of being content with eating jabs. Does anyone get the impression Lewis could have KO'd him if Tua fought with reckless abandon? I don't!

Eventhough I don't like Tyson and he's not in his prime, Tyson is the most intriquing match up for lewis. Some one who will press the action and can hit hard with both hands.

Oh Well, nothing knew in boxing. Just another sh!tty boring main event.
