PRIDE announced today that Kazuhiro Hamanaka will be on their inaugural PRIDE Bushido show scheduled for October 5th. Other fighters already scheduled to be on the card are Hayato Sakurai and D. Mishima.
PRIDE Bushido is PRIDE's new promotion that is geared for middleweight and lightweight fighters. More news to come in the next few days.
The hot rumor out of Japan is that D. Mishima vs. Royler Gracie will take place on the inaugural PRIDE Bushido card scheduled for October 5th.
Below are some of the matchups we have heard DSE is strongly considering:
Royler Gracie vs. D. Mishima
Nino Schembri vs. Hayato Sakurai
Kazuhiro Hamanaka vs. Ryan Gracie or Rodrigo Gracie
Daiju Takase vs. Ryan Gracie
DSE is also in discussions with the Pancrase organization to possibly bring in Ikuhisa Minowa to compete on the inaugural card or in a future PRIDE Bushido card.
I of course am rooting for my boy Royler. Never trained with him ... yet ... but he as such great technique (have watched matches) and such a great working ethic. His training schedule is awsome... and something I can only dream of doing.
