Tuck the elbow in. Keep posture. Look up. This is how Rorion teaches it.

Passing the "traditional" way can get you in alot of trouble fast! However, if done correctly it can be very hard to stop. Key points when passing thisa way:
-good posture (try and keep nose and bellybutton in line-nose in front of bellybutton gets you in trouble)
-arm reaching around leg, that elbow must be glued to your side (if you leave space there he will escape)
-other arm must be tucked to your side as well and be kept back (if you keep your arm on the outside of your opponents leg and your opponent is a high level belt, you will get in trouble)
-posture and tightness is key, opponent will try to break this done, when done right this pass is very effective, the smallest mistake and you end up getting caught.. I think they call this pass, the "pass of death"
-I like it and use it whenever I can, alot of people nowadays even at higher levels don't know how to stop it because not many people teach it...
      Hope this helps...
