Damn great show.... Pulver was unreal, my boy John Lewis flopping around on the mat was not a pretty site.

Barnett cooked the bigger McGee in the battle of the GARGANTUAS.

Mark Hughes won a dec. over a skillful opponent... Mark is not as fierce as Matt... maybe his opponents tekk-a-neek had sumthin to do wit that????

Babalu was boring, and didn't take ANY chances... he fought like Lennox Lewis; "just win baby".

Who else????

The Russian guy looked good against Brink, with a nice armbar.

Randy Couture was impressive with a nice guard, and armbar attempt from his back(!!!) and a level head.... Greatinside trip to get Randleman prone, and then he opened up a can...

Monsen vs Liddell didnt go down, and I didnt realize it til this morning cause I drank 20 beers last nite (my head!!!).

Lewis seems like a cool guy. I know he's trained a lot of standup. But it goes to show what a striker can do. Congratulations Jens.

That Russian dude was awesome. I've got to try that armbar real soon.

Barnett did like I expected. Good fight.

Mo v. Babalu could have gone on a lot longer, but then again, it was pretty boring. I would have called it a draw. Mo should have kicked him in the head. It would have worked well, I think.

Randleman/Coture lived up to the hype. I thought Coture would have been drilling him with punches in the clinch. Randleman should have practiced harder in fighting off the bottom. He didn't look good at all.

Randleman impressed me on his feet though. His punches were awesome. His takedowns were awesome and I think he impressed me more in this fight than any other. I was impressed most, however, with his class.

I'd prefer not to watch Mo Smith fight again until he can defend a shoot. He has to fight so tentatively because he has trouble sprawling and all he has are his hands and feet.

Couture fought a smart fight and he finished Randleman off when he needed to. Randleman needs to learn how to escape or at least defend the mount. Peretti had some good points about wrestlers always wanting to move forward when sometimes they should back off a little.

Pulver absolutely demolished Lewis with the left hook. Holy shit!

I've seen Barnett look better but he was never in trouble and it was just a matter of time before McGee gassed.

Overall, I was very satisfied with UFCXXVIII

couture was impressive the way he tied up kevin from the mount and punished him. haven't really seen anyone do that with as much effectiveness since rickson ala funaki and duarte. I mean kevin was helpless sitting there, no way to defend it. couture is probably my favorite non-BJJ fighter.

I just watched the tape of the latest UFC and well, the KO of Lewis was a surprise to me and the rest were entertaining to boring. I almost fell asleep at one point.
