Ok, so you have 'used' "JKD, or Krav Maga, or even Silat" and several other approaches/arts/whatever in separate STREET SELF DEFENSE situations where you used each one in turn exclusively in a given situation to respond to essentially identical situations such that you can make any kind of reasonable comparison?

Silat and judo - good combo, Tant.

I'm thinking silat/kali is a good combination for someone with a muaythai background. Both arts are weapon-based and they compliment the hardness of muaythai.

it is always good in theory to combine a great offense art with a great defense art, but at the same time, it can be said that the best form is no form. i think it just comes down to personal preference at the end of the day.
