The guy was 5'7 125 lbs... he would get murdered by some 6'2 250lb tank. Even if he gained some weight, it would compromise his speed. His legs and arms are too short to do hit and run so even his speed wouldnt help. Inside the ring you can only go so many places before you get caught... and then slaughtered. This would actually be pretty sad to watch.
But if he did K1 featherweight, he'd do nicely. Though his JKD techniques have never been proven to work in a ring, so who knows.
The bottom line is this topic is completely stupid and so am I for participating in it. But if you kiddies try to flame my personal opinion...

Well take it from Loren Christensen, a well respected martial artist and author. He saw Bruce Lee in action in 1969 and he said his footwork was a blur, his movements were almost too fast to see. Also many of the martial artists that Bruce was filming movies with challenged Bruce Lee to a duel because they thought he was all hype, I never heard about Bruce Lee losing any of those fights. Also look at his students like Chuck Norris and Kareem Abdul. He made warriors. Plus the UFC is kinda soft if you ask me, there are many more cages (needless to say they are illegal) where eye gouging and all that good stuff is perfectly fine, its real down to earth fights with no pads, no gloves, and no rules. Put Bruce Lee in some of those fights, and I'm putting all my money on him.

Yeah his 135lbs would total totally dominate people
He would get taken down and POUNDED, WAKE UP PEOPLE.
Did you see Carl Uno I think it was try that flying side kick at the start of the fight (the first 10 seconds) with BJ Penn???? He came running out and did a flying Bruce Lee kick, it was the funniest thing and executed better than Bruce Lee coulda done it......he comes flying through the air, Penn steps aside and then KNOCKS THE GUY THE **** OUT !!!!! FIGHT OVER IN 20 SECONDS LOLOLOLOL Good Luck Brucie baby

Even if he executed it better does it mean he used it in a good time?
I said he could compete but the guy's dead I mean there is no way to find out for sure, so all the doubters need to stop talking shit and all the fans (Me being one of them) need to stop defending him when we don't know what would really happen. Omaplata you are in no position to say he cannot defeat BJ Penn or whoever. Small guys can have extremely good power, speed and technique, one punch can finish the match just put that in mind.

As he stood, Bruce Lee would GET KILLED in the octagon. IF he trained in BJJ or other things if he lived, who knows, but as he was, he wouldnt have stood a chance.

Guys Bruce Lee was an excellent fighter back in the day and as well rounded as you can get.....but things evolve....Bruce himself made evolution a huge part of his philophsy. In the present day ufc he would be slaughtered by bigger stronger and more well rounded guys.In the shooto division however there are guys his size and if he was in his prime and stuided modern day MMA i could see him being crowned Shooto Champion after alot of hard work.
