AT LEAST YOU TRAIN AT A BAD ASS, VERY LEGITIMATE SCHOOL! NO MCDOJOS ALLOWED!
I LOOK FORWARD TO HEARING BACK FROM YOU ON THIS SUBJECT.
do i need to experience getting shot in order to know that it hurts?
no. i can tell you right now, that it's painful, and i do that knowing full well that i never have been shot. it's called planning ahead. and i plan to never be duped into using dim mak

Since you sound like nothing more than a stupid kid who hides behind a screen name and doesn't list anything about himself personally, let me tell you about how life really works. Experience is the great equalizer in life. Nothing comes even close to compare with that.

And once again, you prove my point for me. You say that you've never been shot, but you KNOW that it hurts. Well guess what , I have been shot and it really didn't hurt at all. It felt like a small calf cramp. Now the 2 bone graf surgeries and the skin graf after really sucked. So, once again keep your ignorant mouth shut becouse you don't know shit.
      Later!

P.S. The origional question was about Bruce Lee fighting in the UFC. Do you have anything to add to that, if not, it's past your bedtime and the adults are trying to talk.

What the hell where you shot with, a BB gun? When bullets tear into your flesh, it does not feel like a "small calf cramp", it's like getting hit with a baseball thrown by Nolan Ryan. First shock sets in, so you don't even really feel the pain, but once that wears off you sure as hell do. Not to mention blood gushes out fast (or spurts if it's arterial), bones break, and all sorts of other unpleasantries. Small-caliber bullets (i.e. 5.56mm) actually suck worse, as they tend to bounce around once they've entered a body, doing even more unpleasant things to you. Most other bullets go in small and come out big, and trust me, once you see a few people writhing in pain from being shot, you'll know it's no small cramp these people are feeling.

I wasn't going to get into the specifics but since you asked and have served yourself (a corpral in the Marine Corps if I'm not mistaken) I'll elaborate. I was deployed in Haiti in '95. I took a 30/30 round through the lower left leg from outside calf area to inside. The bullet shattered my tibia and exited the inside of my calf. When I got hit, I was in the process of hitting the dirt. I didn't even know that i was hit and found myself laying face dowm with my weapon (m14a) laying on my right side, barrel pointing twards my right foot. Trying to return fire, i popped up to level my weapon by planting my left foot on the groung and piviting off my right knee to turn left and return fire. this is what did the most damage to my leg. The next thing I remember, I was on a C-130 headed for Gitmo. I was forced to Medically retire in '97 and am currently on PDRL (permanently disabled retired list).

Worse than mine, props to you for returning fire afterwards I just got an in and out in my left shoulder with a 7.62 in March 2003. Sounds like yours was substantially more painful BtW why the M14? They normally don't dish those out to just anyone. What was your MOS?

            • Crampin up.

And yes, it only felt like a small cramp. I could sit here all day and site specific examples of times I witnessed first hand people getting hit by gunfire and not realizing it. Maybe someday we'll have a chance to get teoghter and exchange stories. LOL
My origional point to that story was, assumption is the mother of all f***ups, M.artist. Don't talk about things that you don't know about! Knowing about something means you've witnessed it for yourself, with your own two eyes and can speak from experience! When you spout off about things you don't know, you tend to piss off the people that do have experience and knowledge in that area! Enough said about that.

Koto Ryu_ From now on, I'll forward all my future posts to you for a spell check. LOL Take care brother, Jeremy

I was an EM2 stationed at Little Creek. You should give you a pretty good idea. If you want to know more, please pm me.

The M14A is what is standard issue for SpecWar in the navy. It is more powerful than a M16 and is about 4" longer. Some branches, Marine Force Recon, at least 2D at Legune, use it for a sniper rifle.
I'm sorry to hear about your injury. No wound is small if it's in your body! I hpoe your recieving the propper compensation that you deserve from the V.A. If not, pm me and I'll put you in touch with the right people. I switched my compensation from DOD to the VA in '97, in Ohio and still know some really good people in that area. Jeremy

(and why did you start flaming? when did i insult you? you seem like one of the loser bullies back in elementry, who tried to act tough, but when it came down to it, ran away with their tail between their legs. just an observation, considering i wasn't offending anybody)

When you make rediculus statements over and over again with no supporting evidence, you offend people. I don't understand why you don't seem to get this. When you intentionally degrade people that are advanced so much farther than you, you piss the people off that respect them. And like I said before, when you hide behind a screen name, don't list anything about yourself, and constantly make refrences to school, the only assumption that can be made is that you, yourself are still just a kid. In that case, it's understandable that you don't realize when you offend people. And let me clue you in to a little fact. Back when I went to school, the little chickenshit stuff you're refering to didn't happen. It must be pretty prevalent now though, cause you're still hideing behind a screen name and don't list anything about yourself. I think that's because you really don't train at all and are just a wannabe. Yes I did serve my country, (not a Marine-another false statement from M.artist) but I limit all my posts to things that I have experienced myself. Being a kid, this must be really hard for you, not really having any life experience to speak of but still fealing the need to show off.
I've got a really simple way to settle this. I'm heading back to the mainland in a couple of months and will come to see you personally. This is the only true way to settle this. Of cource, if you're just a kid, that will certainly limit the options.
