Would Bruce Lee win UFC fights had he been still alive and willing to compete?
I think BL would have held is own (in his prime), all of his students back in the 70's couldn't believe the power he could get and his speed as everyone knows was phenomanal. And these students were poeple like Joe Lewis, Chuck Norris, Bob Wall the whole gang of hard people. If they honestly believed that he was so good, movies or no movies he still the best.
I read somewhere that yes fighting with rules and a ref then Ali would win, but i think he is quoted in saying if both of them were fighting in a cave then only only BL would walk out of there, and i certainly believe him. Fighting in a UFC type tournament wouldn't suit him, because he is so small as it is technically a street fight the first thing he admits he would do is stick two of his fingers in your eyes, kick you square in the groin and then make sure you never fight again. All of which are not allowed in UFC. Anyway i think BL was spirtually beyond fighting in tournaments.
Bruce would probably not compete anymore than Stephen Seagal, Jackie Chan, Jet Li, supposed "Shaolin Monks", etc., they all have more to "lose" than a match.

Bruce is the type who would do something to challenge himself like that however.

He could probably do it too, with half-screen special effects and computers. Wow, Bruce Lee (in a black kung-fu outfit) against Bruce Lee (in a yellow jogging suit)! Who would win?!????

Bruce picked up boxing and picked it up really well, as all the guys mention. Against Ali, he'd loose. In a UFC, he would do well.
No-did you actually believe that he got into any open competitions doing his "day"??
Bruce fought in a good many fights in his day, and something that challenges all martial artists to come and test their styles against others is something the guy used to do all the time. What better place to test his skills against a variety of different styles and opponents than MMA/NHB?
