  • Ghetto riggin a heavy bag

    Im thinking about taking apart my heavy bag and filling the bottom with sand.. what do yall think?

    Shredded tires if you can get it. Old tires are free at most tire shops.

        I think (as someone mentioned in a previous thread) that once it packs down, it would be like kicking concrete.

          i have clothes and rags in mine with a tube of sand and a sand bag in the middle for weight in my thai heavy bag and the bottom feels hard as hell as it is, nevermind sand lol
          I put a sandbag in the middle and made sure to put rags all around it along with a tube of sand, its great and isn't rock hard, but isn't soft at all either...

              Ah well, it works great lol. Its actually surprisingly hard when it settles after a couple days and weighs about 140 lbs
