What does this have to do with Bunkerd's new gym?

I heard, and dont know if it is true, that bunkerd left fairtex because alex gong was screwing all of the trainers out of some money. Bunkerd was the only one who did not currently have a contract with fairtex, so he was the only one that could leave, the others would have if they could have.

                how do you know?
He was getting sewed by anthony lin for licens and trademark infringment and the fairtex gym was going to get taken form him. I heard form like 4 people that he did not pay them for something, i can not remember what. I am not trying to talk bad about the dead, i respected alex gong very much, he was a good fighter, but you can never tell who is in it for the money and who isnt.

As far as I know, the best thing for the San Francisco Fairtex Gym was when Alex Gong bought into it and became a part owner of the gym. The reason that I have doubts about why Bunkerd left is simple. Fairtex has always been a strong family (not blood related but im sure you get the point). I could simply not believe that Alex would have screwed anyone there, especially Bunkerd. I think the situation is simple. Now that Alex has passed away, the future of the Fairtex facility is unknown. Many would say the same thing, that Fairtex blossomed quite a bit after Alex Gong entered in the business. But now that he is gone ( and will be missed) I think it was simply time for Bunkerd to move on and open his own gym. If there was a problem between Bunkerd and Alex, I think it would have sparked something, many years before now. Alex had been an owner of that gym for 10 years and Bunkerd has been there forever. Regardless try not to listen to rumors or heresay. Only Bunkerd and Alex truly know what happened and as far as I have always known, Alex and Bunkerd were close friends and had nothing but the best repoir with each other and the highest respect. Lets not add to senseless gossip.

I have actually heard that all was not well in the Fairtex gym prior to Alex's death. I had heard nothing of any problems between Alex, Bunkerd, or any of the other instructors. My understanding was that the rift was forming between Fairtex Thailand and Fairtex USA.

The basic gyst is that Fairtex USA was trying to expand the business into areas which had not been approved by Fairtex Thailand, or something to that effect. As an example, there was talk of Fairtex USA opening a facility on the East Coast of the USA. Apparantly, this venture was being undertaken without consulting with or approval from Fairtex Thailand.

However, please understand that the above information is all second hand "knowledge". I heard it from a friend, who heard it from a friend, who heard it..... (you get the picture).

that is why anthony lin (CEO fairtex thailand) was suing gong and was going to take the fairtex name form him. I read something written by him posted on a web site somewhere (i can not remember) that said all new gyms, instructor certifications, seminars, and someother stuff was illigal. If he was willing to exclude fairtex thailand form some stuff that would probaly bring some money to them, why would he not do it to the trainers.

                            Karate is cool....

It was real f'ed up. He was at the gym, and someone side-swiped his car on the street and attempted to run from the scene. Alex ran outside to confront the person. He chased the person down at a traffic light. The perp shot him in the chest and drove away.

The murderer later shot himself when the police had him cornered in a hotel room.
