  • sherwinc "the greatest martialartist" or so im led to believe

(bri-thai mode activated ) Im led to believe that Sherwinc is the greatest martial artist in the world as he trains in a secret form of Kungfu only known to a hand full of people (only 15 students) in the Philippines.

He is quick enough to boast about how he knows more hand strikes than other arts so he can destroy western boxers, thaiboxers etc.. because we only have a few hand & leg techniques.

He seems to think that because boxers fight with rules & gloves that on the street he would have a hit ratio of something like 10:2 against them so would win easilly yet we have not seen or heard of any proof?

Oh yeah and he can never fight because he can only strike to kill & can do it with unbelievable accuracy.

So iv'e layed down the gauntlet....let's see some proof mister kungfu man. (you wont believe the crap that will come from this guys mouth).

Actually the hit rate is 22 to 2.

Personally I belive him. But those pitter patter Wing Chun punches are hardly anything to worry about. It could be 100 to 1. But one of mine would knock an arse-hole like sherwinc out to the middle of next month.

    Convinced?

          Note:

i am one of the NON-COMMERCIALIZED KUNGFU PRACTITIONER, as i already told you there, if you only in the Non-commercialized KungFu, you will truely understand me.....

by now, it is your dis-advantages since you are involved in a commercialized way of martial arts..... and it is not my problem......

my teacher always said..... "DO NOT CRITICIZE OTHER ARTS, SPEAK ILL TO SOMEONE AND IT WILL SURELY COMES BACK TO YOU"

since sometimes i dont believe it, i presented my art here in defend.net and it is true, ...... it is true that Non-KungFu martial arts wont believe it and they will only replied: what type of drugs did i take, moron, stupid, etc.... HAW HAW HAW

it is truely our ADVANTAGES if they wont believe since they are exposed in a commercialized way, others are faked, ....... not only here in the Philippines but around the world, they wont believed......

KungFu remain in a secretive mode is a truely advantages, thx

One man's secret, is another man's common knowledge.

I hope you arent paying money for that instruction, if you are, your instructor is taking you on a ride.

but the reason you're getting attacked/ flamed is because you violated those same rules that your teacher told you. YOU CRITICIZED OTHER ARTS!

There's an article in this month's, or last month's, issue of Blackbelt magazine, in which an american went and trained at one of the temples with the shaolin monks there. He commented that their chi, although impressive, was very short lived, and they had a hard time defending against the author's strikes since the strikes were MMA oriented. He didn't say they were pussies or anything like that, but the fact that he was able to rock them a couple of times with boxing and MT stuff was interesting. Their training was very tough, but they trained kung fu vs kung fu, and didn't have a lot of experience with other styles. With that said, Sherwinc must have tons of training elsewhere to gain the experience he would need to boast defeat to other martial arts. Better watch out, huh?
All it takes is one punch, Sherwinc, not 100.

I love my Junfan and weaponry and can usually(?) back it up, but when it comes to fighting my Thaiboxing and my submission grappling nver let me down. This kid has never had a fight in his life.
Convinced? is merely a way to ask for justification. I think he should be locked off of this forum. Everybody just wants to kick his kung-fu a**!!!!!!!!!!! Or not. At least we have someone to hate that doesnt matter in the scheme of life.
Convinced punk? I'm usually pretty tolerant(?), but this guy doesnt deserve a viewpoint.

Everybody should have their own opinion or life would be boring but we should also be able to take what we give out & realise when we have been talking bollox mr sherwinc.

But then again how can he seriously believe that nobody knows some secret moves that have been passed down without anyone else knowing in todays society & to learn it within 15 yrs & making him able to take out any other style?

I say bring it on (the more bullshit the better as it's making me laugh).

then why is it that most of the matches that i've ever seen, why is it that when the opponent punch you with a straight punch, instead of do some Blocking, Deflecting, Neutralizing to defend the opponents punch ..... most of the defender "Using his own Head or Body to meet the opponents punch

what i mean is..... blocking the opponents punch with their own head or body???????

for me, it is not longer called martial arts instead, its a Human Dummy......

Okay, all you folks following this thread - This is a legitimate question. What say we try and turn this flame thread into a constructive conversation.

In my experience (and I'm not claiming to be the most knowledgable MA on this board, much less anywhere else) deflecting and redirecting the strikes of a competant, aggressive opponent is terribly difficult. More often than not, the defender will miss his deflection and get hit anyway, or the attacker will feint a stike to set up another, harder hit. A typical strategy in the ring is to throw different attacks and try to see if your oppenent responds the same way every time - then expliot that predictability.

Also, I have found in Muay Thai (I also trained in TKD and Shotokan karate - no exp. at all with kung fu) that trained opponents can take a lot more damage than I once thought. Snapping kicks and lightening fast backfists simply have no effect. Once your opponent realizes that he's not being hurt, he will proceed to ignore these strikes and counter punch.

All this comes with the caveat of course that this is my experience. I don't know enough about arts other than Muay Thai, boxing, and BJJ to comment. A large part of why I'm on this board is to learn from you guys in other arts.
