I think the Advanced muay Thai video by Master Chai was counterfeited before it was ever officially released, and so it might not be available anymore. I got my copy from him years and years ago.

To toughen me up I have someone kick my inner and outer thighs and shins while I just stand their taking the shots and putting up with the pain but that is one thing and it's another to be training with an instructor that hits you with a bat,that is just plain rediculous.

All this stuff about hitting a student with a bat is bullshit.A bat would do alot of damage and I think arthritis would be the least of your worries,you could end up paralized or something terrible anyways.If someone wanted to take a bat to help toughen me up I'd grab the bat and hit them with it.

Any instructor that wants to hit you hard with a bat to toughen you up doesn't know what he is doing and is stupid to take the chance of getting sued.

I would never hit one of my students with a bat.

Anyways I personally have never heard of an instructor that toughens up his students using a bat.
