I'm fine staying out of it. There are already subjects made for certain questions. As you can probably see there are like 13 threads for thai shorts. zzzz

          Dude,

Flexing...or "trying to flex" is not a prerequisite for Muay Thai...the most a muscular body will do is MAYBE intimidate your opponent, but if he is a good fighter, it won't. I have personally a couple guys who were freakin chiseled, get dropped by guys who were not so built. The fight lies within your heart, cardio, and skill...not what you look like. You ask if we think you are in shape by looking at your pic?? C'mon dude..can go the distance on the bags and pads, say...20 3-min. rounds with crunches during the rest periods, and shit like that?? Then you willl have your answer.

Being muscular says nothing about fighting ability, except that you are probably stronger than the average guy and can probably beat a guy with less strength and no training and impress some young ladies on the beach. If that's your goal, go for it.

Power and resistance training are used for the sole purpose of improving your abilities. The great side benefit is that it will sculpt your body. Again, the goal is to develop the ability to APPLY STRENGTH, be more explosive, last longer and to strengthen the body to handle punishment.

In your current condition, how many rounds can you sparr at a decent level of contact?

There are people who have so-so physiques and look like ordinary Joes, but have awesome stamina, speed, timing and knockout power. Why? They train to supplement their ability, not the appearance. You cannot see their power and speed on their physique, but when you get in the ring and fight you can experience it first hand.

Well, since apparently you dont wanna go in fighter info.
You look slow (judging from girth/height), and in Muay Thai, if your slow, you get knocked out.
Also, the bigger you are, the less flexable you are (in most cases), you might have problems with taller people. I don't know, you look like more of a boxer to me. Just my oppinion though.

is this that same guy who posted a while back and wanted us to rate his body, then reposted under another name and asked us to evaluate him again. i forgot his name.

"fear the guy with the cardio, not the guy with the muscles."

Why don't you stop posting and try training. I do not think you can handle a physical school and you sound like one of those people who exagerates what they really are capable of...meaning you say are this but in reality you ain't s**t.

                          Body

Cue the gay porno music... Work on cardio, train in Muay Thai, do plyometric exercises, kick, kick, kick.

Why does the term egocentric come to mind? And were those breifs or bike shorts... Anyway, you should know the answer to your questions already. Not to sound rude but here is a girl's perspective: Go to a club if you want to get a compliment on your physique--which it seems like you want--and are not going to get. If you are serious about muay thai, there are weight requriements posted on the ikf and iska websites--get your answer there--then you can have something to work towards.
                            Cheers

Get big, man? Well, I suggest that you don't get big because you won't be able to perform your ability well. Focus on your skills. Your appearance should be on Men's Health.
