That's the distance you'd have to move your pinky in order to not sound like an idiot. I know the burden of pressing shift to capitalize is a great one, but c'mon, you can do better than that. I used to type emails in caps like yours, but then I decided that I didn't want a job mixing concrete.
C'mon guys....while the little verbal battle between you two is kinda humorous, you have turned TomYum's decent thread into a joke...can we get back to some productive or informative posts?? Whaddayasay??

I'll give it a shot. My answer was "I'm a Recreational Amateur (1-2 years) + regular sparring," although I've been at it a little longer than that. As far as standup game goes, I've been studying boxing/kickboxing/muay thai for around 2 1/2 years, and kajukembo for about 3 and 1/2. I'm probably the most skilled student in my current boxing/kickboxing class, but that doesn't really reflect on my skill level, it's just a small class and the other 4 or 5 students in it have only been at it for around 2-6 months (also, I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who actually trains outside of class). I'm emphatically not the most skilled student in my kajukembo classes. I'd like to do some smokers or entry-level MMA event against other amateurs around my skill level someday, but I have no delusions whatsoever of current or future badassness. I'm never going to be a Golden Gloves boxer, I'm just a 34 year old lawyer who likes to study boxing and martial arts for fun, conditioning, and self defense, and I'm okay wth that.
Started Judo at about 6 years old for about a year.
Did Gymnastics for about a year after that
Played abit of Rugby and Soccer
Did Akido for about a year at about 12 years old
Did alot of long distance and cross country running
left school became a carpenter and while working on a building contract on a thai resturant in Auckland met a one of the thai Cooks ( who started kickboxing when he was 5 years old and was 38 when he trained me) swapped English lessons for Muay Thai did that for about 2 years
No ring fights but I have had my fair share of street battles.
Haven't trained with anyone for a quite a while but have just started up again on the bag, lifting weights and running.
what if I have been doing this for 5 years, but haven't ahd any fights due to my age, and the fact that it just doesn't matter to me? what do i fall under then?

Probably under somebody who has had some fights and will toss you on the dirt and pound ya.
That's the guys i train with. One's an NHB fighter and the other holds the national championship in full contact Kali. which means Kali mixed with BJJ/Shooto and Muay Thai. Trust me they wont knock me on my ass, i'm too good at landing.
I don't know Mr. Gruhn. I kinda think those guys are "all talk and no rock", I might believe in the one, but I think that National champ guys a little bit off. Plus He bought his girlfriends lie that the dirve-ni wasn't open.
I hear that real contactfighting site flippin' sux.
I have been training in Muay Thai for only a month, I have about 4 months experience in Wing Chun Kung Fu (classes were too expensive) and I'd say a year in Modern Arnis (supplemented with some Ed Parker Kempo). The Arnis was informal training by a friend of mine who was previously and instructor. I still feel like a rookie tho having taken so many breaks in between training.
