Has anyone here had recent experiences training muay thai in Vegas? I will probably be out there for a few days at the end of July and was considering taking a session or two at Master Toddy's. I don't really know much about any other gyms out there but I am familiar with Toddy's rep etc. And I'm sure we've all seen Toddy's Angels

In all seriousness, any input would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

My experience with Muay Thai is very minimal...I looked up Master Toddy's website and found it interesting...I plan on taking classes there in near future...but me being such a procastinator at times who knows..?His gym is near my job's office...I've passed it by many times...Either he or an instructor there looks like one mean, tough mutha in person...don't know much about any other schools on Muay Thai up in here...

Yeah, I'll have a great time. I've been out there a couple of times before but never when I was doing muay thai. Last time I slept about six hours the four days I was there. I don't think that will go well with my training aspirations for this trip though

            Hey THT,

How much are you paying for those classes while you're there? B/c I received an email from one of the instructors about their seminar on August 11-13...It's pretty expensive but i'm interested as well...Let us know how it goes for you and yes...the angels....mmmm.... hahaahh

Toddy's is a highly reputable gym. You wouldn't do wrong by training there. Master Green is there as well, but I'm not sure if he has his own place, or also teaches out of Toddy's. I'm not clear on the distinction....

theres also the las vegas combat club. its mma gym, so the training there will be quality, and they have muay thai.

It looks like I won't be going to Vegas now after all. Everyone out there please say hello to Master Toddy ( and Gina ) for me.

I trained at toddys for about a week. i couldnt afford to train there any longer. His gym is really expensive. He wanted $300 a month. and i was like So finally after talkin with him for a little bit he brought it down to $100, but for a 3 year contract and i had to pay extra to get padded, and etc... so 100 bucks (which is still expensive) for just a regular class. i dont even know if i could go everyday or not... but anyway. no disrespect to m toddy, or lookchang. they were pretty cool guys but they are just too expensive!! Thank buddha i moved back to cali and im back at my gym.

Also, i heard there is a Fairtex Gym in vegas now. but i dunno where its at or anything. but most gyms in vegas are probably extremely expensive.
