The fights are great, great moves and quite realistic most of the time.
Tony Jaa really knows what he's doing. The capoeira guy is really good too.
Although it seemed to me they tried to sell thai culture to farangs, the movie is highly enjoyable and the whole team did a great job. They deserve all the success. Gonna see it again for sure.

I recently watched the new Tony Jaa action movie here in Thailand. Anyway I had a small fight scene with Tony Jaa in his new movie, actually started out small but with editing became tiny heh. The movie has great action and uses a good mix of martial arts: muay thai, Tae kwon do, hapkido, jujitsu. Although the Thais and Tony will say it is all Muay thai....... it is not but he is exemely skilled at everything he does. The best part is what made his first movie look so good, full contact choreography. Nothing looks better on film for action than real impact, all the hits look solid and painful.

Some of the highlights were a fight scene between Lateef and Tony Jaa, Lateef is a highly skilled capoeira expert and pro gymnast, his scenes great. Another great fight scene is with John Foo, hes a wushu expert and he does a wushu sword scene with Tony that looks very dynamic.

Anyway, awesome action movie, not big on strong story but insane great action. Hopefully will be released in North America this year.

I just watched the making of featurette that I downloaded with bittorrent. That movie looks awesome!!! In the making of, you get to see the body armor they are wearing under their clothes when they get hit by Panom Yeerum. Some of them when they get hit with flying knees, lay on the floor stunned and in pain supposedly!! How nuts would that be.

Anyways, when the North American release comes out, that will be awesome!!

there's a scenewhere Tony Jaa arrives at the airport
and bumps against a man, they both stop and look at each other for some seconds and then say sorry and go their way. That man really looked like
Jackie Chan and I was wondering if it was really him.
