      Good idea for a thread!

I'm a student at the University of British Columbia, doing a Political science degree and hopefully going to Medical School! I'm also a lifeguard, swimming instructor and a competitive swimmer, and I compete in surfing (sometimes).

I'm VP of a Medical Cost Containment/Forensic Review Firm. I've had a lot of other intersting jobs before I found my niche in this field. I worked for the Port Authority of NY & NJ, Legal Dept for a Solarium Manufactuer, DAE for FEMA and for a while I worked for a hotel chain which let me get some traveling in while I was younger. Part times I used to Bartend and work Construction.

So I'm one of those knows a little about everything and whole lot about nothing (LOL)!!

Well, whether you believe it or not, that's what I do, and I don't particularly care whether or not you are impressed. But, in the spirit of silencing a troll, I'm always willing to back up what I say. Here are some pics. The first is a pic of my badge and id card, the second is one I just took of one of my HRET training shirts. The third is me shooting my county issued Colt M-4 Carbine, and lastly is me with my team. I'm the second from the left on the back. I can't stand people who claim to be what they are not. Think twice before you speak once. Any more questions?

                      Easy, big guy...I believe you.
Nice M4, haven't shot one of those since my days in the Corps.........

With that said, I am an offshore production and completions tech (I know, what the hell is that?). We drill and complete offshore deepwater oil wells for production in the Gulf of Mexico. Tough work, but it is fun. Other than that, my family takes the rest of my time and commitment.

                      Peace through fire superiority, pittbulldog.

Thanks Scream. I just can't tolerate someone calling me a liar in an open forum without even asking any questions. I'll bet you make some decent change working on an off shore rig. I have some cousins in WVa, and they worked on land rigs and didn't do too bad. Dangerous work though. I've heard many stories about it.

Yeah, it can get nasty sometimes when things get out of control. Nice pic of the Barrett. I work with a retired Marine, a former Scout Sniper who trains our local Sheriff's department on the implementation of the .50 cal for disabling vehicles and stuff like that. If your department would be interested, I'll send you his contact info. He has a long and distinguished training record, working with the FBI and other federal branches, down to local PD's and others on using the barrett. He has a training regimine that is suited for SWAT and counter terrorism units. Anyways, I guess that's a whole other forum. Let me know via private message, and I will get his info.

I appreciate the offer. I got the pic off of the Barrett website. We don't have a barrett...yet. We use Remington 700's right now. That's what the two guys on the ends of the front row of the team pic have. I wish we did have one or two. If we do get to that point, I'll drop you a note.

wow.. chill man. if you actually do that, good luck to you. you must realise it does seem to be exactly what someone would brag about on a muay thai forum if they felt like trying to impress ppl. still, good for you. may you have a long time before you get shot.
