sory dudecan't help you. If you were in Tokyo I could. If you can read kanji, search the net and if you can't, get your girl to do it for you. You can even try searching for english sites...there's gotta be SOMETHING in Sapporo.

If you're in Tokyo, and interested in BJJ, drop by Axis Jiujitsu. The head instructor, Taka Watanabe, is a great guy.
The school is in Meidaimae (Keio line/Inokashira line), in Setagaya-ku. There's also a Shoot academy down the street (I forget what it's called, but it's very close to the station).
If you go to Isami martial arts supplies in Shinjuku (south), you can get a lot of leads on where to train in the greater-Tokyo area. http://www.isami.co.jp/english/companyinfo.htm
There's also a shop in Yokohama.

I trained in the mornings as well. The evening classes were pretty insane - I've never seen so many people doing BJJ in the same room before or since.
I think we just missed each-other. My first class was February 25.
Unless your name is Stefan! My notes for that class say: "Sparring vs. Stefan (American Blue Belt) - had trouble with his open guard. His advice: If there's a problem going straight in, go around."
