Im guessing youll be doing MT 1-2 days a week like most beginners do.
With this, it leaves open a lot of time to workout/condition on the side.
If you belong to a gym, go atleast 3 times a week. If not, dont sweat it. Below are two links that use body weight workouts. Being overweight, body weight workouts are harder so if you have to do incline push ups (body on a up slant, maybe against a bench or side of couch).
Military.com provides millions of active military, retired and veterans with benefits information including health, education, military discounts, jobs and more.
Try to diet a little bit too. If you check around the forums or online, youll find a lot of conditioning stuff.
Good luck bro!

Eat less, work HARDER...It's REALLY that simple.
Be patient, it won't happen overnight. All the best.

The only advice that I can give you is never give up. If you stick with it and just keep trying you will get better. I am trying but I am dissapointed with my performence because I am always thinking that I will do good in training and then I do bad and I look like I don't want it enough to keep going. I get out of shape way quicker then it takes to get back in shape so some more advice is to jog a lot and eat healthy.

one of the best fighters in my class is this overweight indian guy. he has a sort of beer belly. BUT! his technique is amazing. you can tell he's been doing it for sometime, he's got the form, amazing reach..i guess he just needs cardiovascular workout.
so don't worry. if ur overweight, it doesnt matter. the technique is something that you need to learn and practise over and over again..and it's best to start on that now, there's plenty of time left to do body workouts.
good luck
