  • altering my double ended head shot bag...

    Hey every one,
a quick question...I have a double ended head shot bag that i would llike to modify, now my idea is to make two more targetson the bottom rope, one knee level and the other shin level for sweeps...the idea is to get presicion and speed with my knees and sweeps.

Now what im wondering is will it effect the actual speed of the bunji/bag.

I figured i would use foam from a couch cushing and then tape to secure it in place.... give me some insight on what you all think.....is it a good/bad idea....

    Thanks to everyone!

It sounds creative and creative is good. It's motivating and helpful to try different experience and approaches towards training tools. Remember equipment are just tools.

I have seen some boxing bags that have similiar design, but I have never tried it out.

In regard to bungee cord, you just have to try it. You are adding weight and it might not have as much bounds, however, try it out and tell us how it is working out for you.

      he he equipment ideas

here's one idea take a double double end bag www.ringside.com or www.titleboxing.com and hang it at leg height that may work
leg kick in mt and all other arts are usually work on banna bag or other power devloping equip or expensive dummies
your idea is a great, I have a 1 double end bag that's called a headache bag www.century.com which is a cylinder instead of a ball and I always have tried to hang it low to work technique for leg kicks with mixed results. So try your idea if it moves to slow then just hang you d.e.b low for leg kicks it will be too low to use for sweeps though.
